45 Park Lane - Dorchester Collection

Mayfair
This is a very good hotel and lounge bar. I think this is where the old Coffee Place used to be. I've always wanted come here as it is the best coffee shop in London. The interiors were plush and the staff discreet. I ordered a pot of coffee with biscuits. They were delicious. Park Lane is very oriental as we have the Hotel Intercontinental on one side and the Dorchester on the other. The Hilton Hotel which is in the middle finds favour with Asians as well. I have stayed at the Edgeware Rd. Hilton and had coffee at Claridges, Dorchester group of hotel as was this hotel and coffee shop owned by the richest man in the world Sultana of Brunei. We have a Coffee Place in Dhaka, Bangladesh but it is not as plush as this one. The speciality being it was self service as the service station restaurants in this country that being a novelty in Dhaka in the 80's.I had a lovely cold coffee there which I never did in England.
Bulgari Hotel London

Knightsbridge
This time I came to London and stayed at the Magnificent, the Fragmented Shangri-La, the Horse Guards and the Bulgari. The rooms in this 1,500-pound hotel had no highlights at all. I really felt like I was paying an IQ tax! Moreover, the air conditioner was very noisy, there was dust on the table, and even the pens had no refills. Several others have their own characteristics. Bulgari is not recommended.

Stayed several times, but this time<2022.1011~16<5 nights During the Frieze Art Fair in London, the price increased more than three times, the most abhorrent serious discrimination against Chinese people Booked a suite < hard to give me a normal room, took out < Ctrip booking records, hotel & Ctrip, bullying people together, just asking me to accept it, even better < Ctrip wants me to go to another hotel for one night? This is irresponsible to customers, restaurants, Ctrip < too chilling & scary , Can you tell nonsense with your eyes open? ? ? There are a lot of hotels in London, but don't stay in the sloppy <Royal Cafe Hotel London! The hotel and Ctrip unite to bully people, it's too hateful <Completely unethical practice!

The Berkeley, Maybourne Hotel Collection
4.5/553 Reviews
Belgravia
The Berkeley is merely a so so hotel in a city full of beautiful and well-run hotels. In our experience, we were given a room looking out on a wall. When we transfered the next day, they completely screwed it up, causing my husband to miss a meeting. Rooms are subpar - very plain and ours had no drawers, no double sink in the bathroom and a bathtub shower. I could have stayed at 3 dozen hotels in the Mayfair/Knightsbridge area that would have been vastly superior for the price. I suggest you stay elesewhere as there is nothing here that says 5 stars.
