Bridgeside Guest House ★★★★

📍 Bridgeside, Fore St, East Looe

"Amazing B&B !!!! Fantastic location with beautiful views of the harbour. Our room was perfect for 3 adults, we even had our own little outside space with table and chairs (room 5). Very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean, tea and coffee facilities and bottled water. The owners are truly amazing, very helpful, polite and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and great sized portions. Thank you for a lovely stay we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back very soon."

Fieldhead Hotel ★★★

📍 Portuan Road, Looe

"Last minute booking! Made us feel so welcome, even made the effort to create a specialise birthday event for me. Clean, beautifully decorated rooms."

The Gate Cornwall
9.6 (35 reviews)

The Gate Cornwall ★★★

📍 Polperro Rd, Looe

"We were excited to visit The Gate, it’s a short drive from Looe and easy to find and park. The dining room has large open windows looking into the garden and an interesting shape room that we liked. The waitresses gave good service. We ordered some small plates to share which included the turbot with a very attractive clotted cream sauce and green oil, pig cheek, hispi cabbage with asian flavours, and chicken wings. It was all really lovely and beautifully presented. We are really looking forward to visiting again."

Dolphin Guest House

Dolphin Guest House ★★★★

📍 Dolphin Guest House, Station Road, Looe

"Just returned from this smashing little guest house, managed by two great people Stephanie and Andrew. From the time you arrive you are treated like friends not guests, the hotel is decorated in a very nice way, the rooms were also decorated to a high standard, with a small tot in your room to welcome you, the bed was one of the most comfy I have slept in, the breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty on arrival. Is this hotel worth recommending without yes. Would we return Yes one day."

Trehaven Manor

Trehaven Manor ★★★★

📍 Station Road, Looe

"The absolute perfect place for a Cornish getaway. Great location, bus stop nearby if you fancy a trip to Polperro ~ £3 one way, highly recommend visiting. Train station opposite with connections to Truro. But the highlight of our stay was our hostess, Ella. She simply could not do enough for us to make our stay wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and she thought of everything that might make our break even better. The rooms were amazing with lake views, tea and coffee with fresh milk, lovely powerful shower and best of all, absolutely fantastic breakfasts. Locally sourced products perfectly cooked and the eggs had the most golden yolk I had ever seen! Lots of choice on the menu, it was a shame we weren't there long enough to try everything. One thing to bear in mind is that the satnav took us around the back of the hotel up a steep, winding, narrow track. We have a big car and it was touch and go getting back down without scratching the car. The hotel entrance is just off the main road with plenty of parking."

The Hannafore Point Hotel ★★★
"Nice period hotel. Excellent staff although a bit thin on the ground. Had to walk from restaurant and queue in the bar for wine with our meal. Meal fine. But slow service. SALT AND PEPPER GRINDERS ON ALL TABLES DISGUSTING! Old discoloured perspex that were just dirty and horrid. Makes one wonder what state the kitchen equipment is like if this is the standard of items in public use? Also had to trek through another event in the ballroom for the gents. Apparently the ones by the Restaurant have been out of use all year!"

Bridgeside Guest House ★★★★
"Exceptional stay, in a clean very comfy guest house. The host Sammy was so welcoming! After my long 5 hour drive, I was met with a tray of a lovely strong pot of tea and biscuits. Breakfast was exceptional! I would easily have paid double the price I was charged. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks Sammy!"

Fieldhead Hotel ★★★
"This is more of a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. Room was nice but cramped and no wardrobe. The balcony was nice but open plan with the others and as a single person I felt bullied by the couple next door who were out there all day. So I couldn't enjoy it. The TV is impossible to use. The breakfast wasl imited very cheap products and not worth £10. But its cosy and you do feel at home there so I guess I would stay again"

Dolphin Guest House ★★★★
"Dolphin House is a wonderful place to stay, clean and tastefully decorated. Our room on the second floor at the back of the hotel was large with seats and a stable type door that opened to allow plenty of fresh air into the room. Being at the back of the hotel noise was not an issue. Hosts Stephanie & Andrew were very welcoming and full of useful information on Looe. Breakfasts were freshly cooked with a wide selection. It's an Ideal location for walking around Looe, all restaurants within 10 min walk. Beach 15 min. All in all a very relaxing few days spent here, will try to book again on our next visit to Looe."

Trehaven Manor ★★★★
"Everything about this hotel is perfect. Set on a slight hill with access from the main road and directly across the road from the train station. Adequate car spaces for the 5 room guests within the hotel grounds. We stayed in a ground floor spacious and very clean room with picture postcard views of the estuary. Within the room are tea & coffee making facilities, a fridge, and biscuits, milk and bottles of water which were replenished daily. Ella the owner is the perfect host who serves a plentiful breakfast sourced from local suppliers. Would definitely return !"
