"The reception was extremely unpleasant. The staff were unbearable, coming to the room door four times in 30 minutes to lower the television volume, which was set to 11. For the price of the room, this is unacceptable. The night reception staff behaved racistly, but the day reception staff were perfectly fine. Furthermore, for €100 a night, the shower water should at least be hot and the air conditioning should be working. The cleaning was lacking; the room was dusty, with fingerprints on the mirrors and glass, and the toilet was dirty upon arrival. There were suspicious stains on the sheets and mattress, and mold on the ceiling above the air conditioning unit. THIS IS CLEARLY UNACCEPTABLE! This hotel is not recommended, and the night reception staff needs to be changed."

"A great no frills hotel and great value. One of the cleanest hotels I've been in. Jean Louis, the owner could not do enough to help our group from Ireland. He obviously takes great pride in his hotel even though the staff were all on holiday. The self - service continental breakfast had all one could ask for. It is in the center of town too. Overall a most satisfactory experience at no. 28. An ideal hotel if visiting Carnac stones."

"We can't say that we had an unforgettable experience.... Firstly, we were surprised to find no drinks in the mini-bar (not even a bottle of water). The highlight was the breakfast! Besides the banality of it, it's the service that's lacking... My daughter having finished the carafe of hot milk for her chocolate, I wait a few minutes for someone to come and replace it. As the room is not monitored, I had to go to the reception, where I was obviously disturbing these ladies... I was told, by an unfriendly person, that "someone was going to come" ... After several minutes of waiting, I had to move towards the kitchen this time: the microwave had rung for a long time, it still took several minutes to transfer the milk into the carafe... I expressed my dissatisfaction at this time. In an establishment where the desire is to serve the customer, they would surely have apologized and done their best to serve me this milk quickly. On the contrary, I think that the carafe was deliberately left waiting on a serving area... They jump on you as soon as you get off the elevator to find out your room number and then no one else! The tables aren't even set, we had to search and open drawers to find cutlery... Pitiful! We are used to traveling to hotels, but this one won't see us again! There are other nicer hotels in Lorient for the same price. Perhaps a management problem? (remember to check the motivation of your room staff, because obviously the person at breakfast doesn't really like their job...)."
