"Freshly refurbished, immaculately clean and very convenient for the station. No noise even on the night England played Argentina which is impressive considering the pubs a few doors down. We had a ground floor room at the back of the building and our room was deliciously cool despite 29 degrees outside. No common areas or restaurants but, as I said, pubs very nearby. Best Travelodge we’ve stayed in by a mile."

"I'm a regular user of Travelodge particularly the Adlington Macclesfield one. I always recieve a friendly welcome from there very obliging staff. The reception area is always kept lovely and fresh looking . The rooms are kept crisp and fresh,although some modernisation is required here. The hotel is in a much quieter place with the ring road being recently opened. Plenty of walking spaces for my dog in the Cheshire countryside. Free parking on site that I find essential. If this was not part of a hotel chain, you could be forgiven thinking this was a family run hotel. Even my dog is made to feel welcome. Well done ."

"First time at this hotel. Had a 5 night stay. Pleasant welcome on arrival (Emma). Allocated a top floor room which suited me perfectly. Room smelled nice and afresh on arrival and everything was clean and in working order. No air-conditioning, but a room fan was provided and definitely useful in the hot weather. I'm not a great fan of air conditioning... prefer to be able to open windows, which you could do at this hotel and use the simple room fan provided. Lifts both working... definitely needed for the upper levels when carrying bags in and out. Using the stairs coming down gave good views of the surrounding area. My room was on the rear of the building, so quite quiet. You can hear the church bells from St Michael's ringing the quarter hours and chiming out the hours but I liked this as it wasn't overly loud and helped me keep track of the time. Birds singing and the rustling of leaves on the trees outside in the breeze I found calming. Parking has restrictions directly in front of the hotel, but there is a pay park just steps away in front of the hotel which is not unreasonably priced. Time it right and you might get a bit of parking time for free. Great central access for the town, other modes of transport (rail), and also for the Peak District. Good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"1st rate customer service even from before our visit. Staff were responsive to emails and we were greeted warmly and professionally on arrival. Barry was very helpful. Debbie and the other staff were very friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable and there was sufficient parking which felt safe.
