"Just back after 3 nights in this hotel. When we arrived there were two drunk men standing in the hotel entrance smoking, which wasn’t the best start, and that’s coming from a smoker. Although the room was huge and included a kitchen there was lots that can be tended to very quickly and easy. Silicone in bathroom is atrocious, toilet roll holder and towel holder have came off the wall and the rawl plugs have been left in the wall. Soap, shower gel and shampoo all very nearly empty, bed side cabinets were all very shaky. Window has been covered at the bottom with a sticky privacy film, that is all peeling off. These are all a very quick fix, that would massively improve this room. The only saviour of our stay was the staff, who couldn’t have been any more helpful, they are a credit to this place. Not somewhere I would visit again sorry."

"Knocked a point off. Although the food was excellent l felt the soup should have been warmer. We also had a ridiculously long wait for our mains to be served. We were obviously forgotten about until I asked the waitress. Will definitely give it a try again and hope for a better experience."

"We had a lovely and peaceful weekend at this hotel. One of the best places not far from busy Edinburgh to enjoy a day together with the family. The service is outstanding, and the staff is polite and helpful. We really enjoyed the SPA area with the warm swimming pool and sauna. We will definitely come back to get some relaxation in this place."

"We stayed for 2 nights in same room, room temperature was perfect, beds comfy, not enough plug sockets by bed. Great location for visiting local attractions. We visited loch leven, culross palace, Falkland palace and kellie castle. We didn’t stay for breakfast."
