I stayed here two nights whilst doing some business up in the north of the island. The rate was excellent, the staff were very welcoming, room was exceptionally clean, the food was good thanks to a great chef, and all-in-all it was great value for money. Thank you to the team!

Hotel was excellent. Staff v.friendly and helpful, especially with my wife when I was in hospital having a small operation. Room was v.good and kept exceptionally clean. Brekfast were v.good. Evening dining was good but also many restaurants within walking distance if you wanted a change. Beautiful views over the sea (20m.away!) and the sunsets were great.

The most cost-effective hotel I have been to Hilton during the Spring Festival. Shangri-La and other hotels. Although it is much more luxurious than this, this hotel is located in the Blue Bay beach and has a private island like Shangri-La. Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point.
