"An experience not to be repeated From the moment we arrived, the service left much to be desired. Upon check-in, the guy at reception didn't explain anything at all. He just handed us the key and told us we'd have to walk through the entire complex, passing by the pool with our suitcases, to get to the apartment. We later realized there was a door right next to the apartment through which we could have entered directly from the street, which would have been much more convenient. The next morning, we went to reception to ask where the restaurant was for breakfast. It was then that they gave us the wristband confirming that breakfast was included, something they should have done from the start. Upon arriving at the restaurant, all the tables were dirty. When we tried to grab a plate, some still had food residue on them, as did the cutlery. The food was sparse, lacking variety, and everything was cold. When we asked about the butter, a staff member responded in a very unprofessional and shouty manner, pointing out that it was next to the milk and yogurt. The apartment itself left a lot to be desired: there was no toilet paper, the sheets had yellow stains, the ceiling fan looked like it was about to collapse, and all the dishes and cutlery were dirty. We even found a broken glass under the table. We had to buy soap and a sponge just to use the bare minimum. In short, a terrible experience. I do not recommend it at all."

"It's in a prime location, as the beach is the Corralejo dunes, making it an idyllic spot. As for the hotel, I can say that the rooms are a bit outdated and the buffet has little variety, but considering the pool, the location near that beach makes it a good option in Fuerteventura for me."

"Just returned from the Barceló Corralejo Sands after one week. Two couples. Right from the moment we booked this holiday through Limavady Travel I knew this would be good. What an exceptional hotel. The food, the accommodation , but most of all the staff were above and beyond. from the moment you enter the hotel reception, bar staff, dining staff, housekeepers even the night porter they really made this holiday for us. "Unfortunately, the hotel is showing its age. From the outside, it looks very sturdy. The swimming pool wasn't filled, the railings were rusty, and the stonework was dangerous because it was loose. The rooms are spacious, with the bathrooms being particularly impressive due to their size. However, there are also some drawbacks: weak water pressure and dirty silicone seams. Unfortunately, the beds can't be locked in place; if you lean against the headboard, the bed slides forward, and you can sink into the gap. This is certainly advantageous for cleaning, but counterproductive for using it, for example, to lean against it while watching TV. Otherwise, the prices are worth mentioning; a quite decent breakfast is available for just €8.50, and the staff is very friendly."

"Stayed here for our last 3 nights in Fuerteventura. An attractive apartment hotel with nice beachy decor and lovely planted gardens. Overall not a bad experience but there were some major flaws. The beds are small and very hard - had to use multi-folded blanket underneath to soften it up. Given that breakfast is usually included in similar type hotels, this one was a paltry affair with some weird offerings - sliced white toast and a tiny bowl of corn flakes between two people. Really? A more adult and healthier option would be muesli and some locally baked rolls. In fact there were no options - you got what you were given, the same every day, and not much of it. A very small choice of eggs or toast with ham/salmon which came plain and undressed. Hot drinks were bad. Three coffee machines/makers in the apartment, but no kettle for making tea. We made do with a saucepan. This place is fine if all you want to do is flop around the pool all day - there is little else around, apart from a busy road on one side, and a small urbanisation with a couple of eateries on the other. A car pretty essential to get to supermarket for supplies. If you don't want the experience of the big resort hotels then this would be an okay and cheaper alternative."
