"The place is really beautiful and clean. The beach is far away, and you have to pay for the barbecue. Upon arrival, they ask for a €100 deposit for any damages. During our stay, the umbrella on the terrace broke and almost fell on our heads. In good faith, we went to the front desk to report it, and they accused us of breaking it. When we told them it was probably a bad umbrella for the apartment and was a sign of wear and tear, they emailed us photos of us with the umbrella. These photos didn't prove anything, but they gave us the unpleasant feeling that we'd always been spied on in our space. In the end, we owed them €80 for damage we hadn't caused. Nice place, but we won't be returning."

"We had booked a Premium Lot pitch for 7 nights at Arena Medulin Campsite. The photos on the website look absolutely beautiful — they make you fall in love with the place. But the reality was completely different once we arrived. The campsite was a total mess. Pitches were not marked or clearly separated, there was no water connection (only electricity), and it was not at all suitable for our 5-ton, 8.5-metre motorhome — even though we had informed them of our vehicle size when booking. The price was €540 for 7 nights with electricity — way too expensive for what was actually offered. The toilet and shower blocks looked like they hadn’t been updated since the 1980s. Nothing about the place made us want to stay, so we checked out straight away. Extremely disappointing. We didn’t stay a single night. Definitely never again."
