"We had a funeral and had to change our check in date. After 32 calls with no answer we have presented ourselves at the hotel. Important note: We've paid in advance the full reservation. The hotel and trip.com didn't inform about the no show policy and when we apperead at the hotel we didn't have a room. The team was super rude and didn't help us at hotel. They left the reception, closed themselves in one room and didn't even attend our requests to get some support. When accessing trip page, booking page and the hotel page, there were rooms available so we requested again the team support. The reply from Alejandra, the recepcionist that was in the front desk, was that we have nothing to do with their reservation policy. We've called the reservation central and when the phone was in speaker mode the lady from the group even told 'you are trying to fool them, why don't you give them a room?' We are demanding to get our money back or credit from the 3 nights we've showed up and they didn't provide a room."

"We recently stayed at Alu Sun at Mereroca and had a very good experience. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever needed. The location was excellent, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being convenient for exploring the surrounding area. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail and the overall quality of the facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Alu Sun at Mereroca to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. We would definitely consider returning in the future."

"The apartments are clean, spacious with amazing air-conditioning throughout. They Terrace sunbeds were a perfect base-camp for snorkeling and reading. The apartments are built on a slope which means many rooms have an amazing sea view (ours did). The village of Platges de Fornells is stunning, with lovely architecture- which the apartments compliment seamlessly. We did the coastal walk to fornells a few times for breakfast pastries, and while the walk is rocky the path is clear and the coastal scenery and rock formations are breathtaking. I would definitely love to return."

"Just returned from 4 nights at this hotel, booked through TUI. We had a great stay and the hotel did very well. The room was very clean, one of the cleanest we’ve had in the Balearics, and everything was modern which was nice. We had a balcony with a view of the marina, sea, and the lighthouse. Absolutely no issues with the room, however one day we lost water for some reason, only discovered after I had put the soap on my hands, so had to use some bottled water I had purchased to wash them, but I went straight down and reported to the reception. They called maintenance to go and fix, and called to the bar to replace my bottle of water. After I got the water and went back up, the maintenance man was there and had just finished fixing the water, so despite that going wrong the service was absolutely phenomenal, fair play. Pool was okay in size, was never a problem, and the kids pool was good too, plenty of sunbeds especially around the kids pool, and we managed to get a cabana a couple of times too which was nice. The location is perfect to go on the beach, with the showers just as you come off the beach too. The entertainment was okay, we found it maybe started a bit too late (10pm) with only 1 act or activity, but I suppose it’s still May and at least there was something. We played pétanque one day, and my girlfriend did Pilates and aqua aerobics which she enjoyed. The male animation member, I can’t quite remember his name, was particularly good at the aqua aerobics and the quiz where he was doing it all in 3 languages so everyone was able to be involved! The drinks were fine, cocktails aren’t the best but adequate but the sangria was nice, and there’s no reason you can’t make your own cocktails. It’s a shame the softs aren’t delve service all the time not just during meals, but other than that we had no problems with bar staff at any point, all friendly and helpful. The food was probably our least favourite part, as we didn’t find there was much we liked, but we are very picky. We did manage to eat every meal and quite enjoyed most of it, we just weren’t blown away. It was acceptable and to be fair staff were able to answer any questions about the food, were attentive at replacing it or keeping it topped up. Some days some things ran out which was a shame, and at breakfast there was often a wait for pancakes/eggs but other than that no real problems. The fried eggs were done quite raw for me but the chef had no problems flipping them and cooking them a bit longer. If you go on holiday for the food then I would say there are better options than this hotel, but if you want cheap and cheerful then this is perfect. The chips are really nice which is good but unfortunately no pizza. We found it a shame that the snack time was so limited and you had to sit in the restaurant, other hotels we have been able to have chips/burgers/pizzas around the pool but no here. Overall I can’t really fault the hotel at all. We got a good deal on the price of t"

"Brilliant location, friendly staff and beautiful room"

"This is our second visit to this hotel, room was nice and kept clean by the hardworking housekeeping staff, some people have complained about the size of the rooms, I'm not sure why there is a large wardrobe area, big double bed , side tables, two arm chairs and a table as well as a balcony with table and chairs. Pool area is nice and plenty of free sunbeds, there was some sunbed saving going on amongst some nationalities. Be aware there is entertainment laid on daily at the pool, if its not your scene bring earplugs or go to the beach. We only booked bed and breakfast so I can only comment on breakfast, sadly it was the only shadow on the stay, poorly cooked , usually cold and easier to get a sunbed than a fried egg, we ended up eating out for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful but obviously overwhelmed, certainly at breakfast, were I helped clear the tables a couple of times so we could sit. Positives, good location, nice pool, nice room, free air-conditioning, nice shower, nice view , clean, friendly staff , close to beach, free beach towels, free wifi, fridge"

"Loved everything about it. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Karla on reception desk. The facilities were great, especially the pools. The location was perfect. A short nature walk to the lovely beach. The breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. The hotel rooms were clean and well equipped. The hotel grounds and layout were lovely. Very spacious and set in beautiful grounds with lots of flowers and trees and greenery. My family and I were very happy with our 5 days there."
