"Beautiful property with modern rooms that have all expected amenities. Very limited English spoken by staff and owner but they try very hard to respond. I sent an email in English and they endeavoured to provide me assistance with a recommended driver even though they could not really speak English and must have had to seek help to translate my email. A short walk from the little village where the Shenxing station for the old mountain line rail bike ride is located . The village is fun- so should go by and spend some time. It is a modest sized minsu so it does indeed not have a lift, so try and travel light, although they provided help to take up my luggage to the upper floor which I very much appreciated. Breakfast is a modest portion but I felt the quality was good - very fresh and good range of vegetable and fruits with a little meat and an omelette for protein. They do offer noodles that can be replenished for those who have a heartier appetites"

"The hotel facilities are nice and have a Japanese style. Staff will help with your luggage as soon as you arrive. However, the location is a bit remote. The dinner hot pot was quite good. The rooms are large and clean, and you can even enjoy a hot spring bath in your room."

"KTVs should have private rooms for singing. Why did they sing outside with the music so loud? We complained to the landlord, but they were annoyed. We paid for the accommodation too. They have absolutely no respect for people. Overall, it was a terrible experience."

"Check-in at the front desk was quick. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hot spring was very relaxing. Breakfast was simple yet delicious (served until 10:00 AM). The slightly later check-out time (11:00 AM) was perfect; it allowed us to sleep in, go down for breakfast, then return to the room to relax a bit before leaving. There was absolutely no pressure to rush check-out, which is common elsewhere."

"Comfortable environment, talkative owner. Good location, easy to reach. When showering at night, I found there was no hot water; the gas cylinder needs replacing. This could have been avoided with a more thorough inspection; it would be quite frustrating in the cold winter. Everything else was fine; I recommend visiting."
