"This Hotel in a nice location to get to the motorway, away from the sea views it is quite strange layout , more like a maisonette, luckily was not noisy. however it has a very nice balcony , but still not my type of a holiday accommodation, kitchen is fully equipped, bedding is good, the sofa was not comfortable for adults to sleep in. but kids did not complain. easy check in and check out swimming pool is good but one downside that every other facilities you have to pay for and it is not cheap considering that it is part of the hotel. you have to pay to go to the indoor swimming pool and sauna or gym, it was the first time to encounter such a thing in a hotel. I wish it was clear to me when i booked the hotel , it was not easy to swim outdoor as the water was cold , and I did not want to pay 10 Euro or 8 Euro PP to use the indoor swimming pool. Food menu is limited and I have not tried it. , parking is free. in general I would have preferred to stay somewhere else but it was not bad experience. it is good for small family who are looking for a quite place. but just be aware that every facility you would like to use it is not included and you would need to cough up more money, maybe this is the current trend in Spanish tourism ."

"The hotel offers free activities daily; we experienced gin tasting and yoga at 9:00 AM. There weren't many Chinese tourists, mostly foreigners on vacation. The golf course area has beautiful scenery and a charming, light green estate style. If you stay in a suite, you can enjoy the spa's massage pool and sauna/steam room. I saw on the website that a standard room costs €30 per person. Parking is free; most European hotels charge extra for parking, but this one doesn't."

The rooms have balconies with views of the Mediterranean Sea and the sunrise. The breakfast room is spacious and offers a wide variety of breakfast options. "I went for a golf trip in early March. I had read some less than glowing reviews about the resort and the staff from the past so was on my guard. I could not have been more wrong! I played all 3 courses during my stay and notwithstanding some serious rain on the day of my arrival, all the courses were in very good condition (if I was being very picky, Campo Asia greens were not in perfect condition compared to Europa and America greens - but fairways were in amazing shape!). 1. Welcome - The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. They set the tone from the beginning and made me feel very welcome. No request was too small and they were constructive and full of suggestions as to how to get the best out of my stay. 2. Restaurant staff - The Terraza restaurant is solid without being flashy. Food quality was excellent, but it was the staff who made things so enjoyable. They made me feel like I was a frequent guest and were always quick to help and go the extra mile for me. I got an undeserved hug from the waitress on my last day that was genuine and warm! 3. Caddiemaster and team. Courses were busy and there was a lot of movement, but they always found time to be very helpful and explain everything so that my rounds were optimized. They bent over backwards to adjust my pre-booked tee times so I could play solo if I wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for them! Thank you guys! 4. Greenkeeping staff. Lots of staff across the 3 courses working away but being quick to stop and withdraw when I played through. Discreet and supportive. On one hole of Campo Asia, I had misjudged where my ball was and walked a distance from my buggy. As I began to walk back, one of the greenkeepers happened to be going by on his cart and he simply diverted, picked me up and dropped me off back at my buggy with a smile. His only question being if I was happy with the state of ‘his’ course. The care and pride was evident. Everyone I met at La Cala seemed to really care about my experience, were helpful and could not have been nicer. I came a stranger and left feeling nothing but warmth towards everyone I met and interacted with. A big thank you to everyone for making my holiday such a great one!"
