"My husband and I only did a quick overnight here but we were completely blown away. We arrived late at night and quickly went to the restaurant to try and grab a quick bite. We were greeted by Salvo who was kind and patient with us though we arrived 30 minutes before closing. He did not rush us and was a great welcome to the property. The next day, we spent time at both the beach and pool after checking out. Both were serene and just the relaxation we were in search of. We spent some time at the spa as well where the team was more than gracious and showed up the amenities. Sign me up for an empty steam room any day. Overall, the hotel was clean and the room was truly one of the best designed and appointed ones I’ve stayed in for a long time. We gasped walking in the door as it was so perfect- as was the view."

"Excellent location for visiting Modica, very convenient parking with gate that is closed at night. Excellent breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. In my opinion it is a good 3 star but not 4 star. The structure needs modernization interventions. Nice swimming pool, but with broken tiles in several places. Noisy air conditioning. Overall pleasant stay."

"Strategic location for visiting the surroundings, on the hills and secluded as we like it. Excellent breakfast and dinners. It's a shame not to have taken advantage of the fabulous outdoor spaces (both for the season and above all because we had to see Sicily for the first time). Nothing negative, a very charming and well-furnished environment."

"Well located with private, quiet beach. Bar tenders very friendly & all employees are English speakers. Breakfast was good but limited. Two things to recommend: wifi did not work which is not expected in this kind of hotel & there is a fee for towels which is strange for being a resort. Other than that we had a great time, thanks!"

"We had a short holiday in Sicily and stayed in this hotel in Modica, a strategic position to reach some of the most beautiful places on the east coast. The hotel, very clean, is also very comfortable: from the garage an elevator takes you directly to your room floor. At the reception they were very kind and gave us some useful advice for our stay. The room (standard with balcony) was comfortable, bright, with a large balcony. TV with 10 free Sky channels. Spacious bathroom, with window. Rich courtesy set (there was even toothpaste and toothbrush and a small sewing kit). Excellent and plentiful breakfast, sweet and savory, cappuccino and coffee from the bar. We appreciated the name tags on the front of the products and containers, so you didn't always have to lift the lids to see the contents or ask the staff. The restaurant deserves a special mention. Excellent food, varied menu, impeccable service. All the hotel staff proved to be very kind and competent. We had a great time and definitely recommend the Hotel Torre Del Sud."

"This is a lovely place to stay in Modica , with splendid views across the hill town , made extra special by Mirko and his staff who were fantastic , Mirko insisted on giving us a lift to the bus station , saving us a 25 minute walk !"

"It's surprisingly far from the city center and difficult to walk to, so please be careful. However, there is a small garden and a field, so you can relax. The breakfast is also very luxurious, with a variety of sweets, tarts, freshly squeezed fruit juice, and more. This is a great B&B to relax at."
