"The Hian Long Hotel in Mong Cai is probably one of the newest and most expensive hotels in the area. Overall, the stay was good; the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The breakfast selection was varied, offering both Chinese and Vietnamese options, suitable for families or business travelers. The front desk staff were friendly, although communication was primarily in Vietnamese and Chinese. Overall, the facilities and services are highly recommended."

"Very good, the boss is very kind."

"The room price is very cheap, but the breakfast feels only 3 stars⋯ The location is not very convenient. If you go out to take a car, you need to ask the front desk for a car and you have to wait for a long time."

"Fully equipped cleanroom in a convenient location not far from the border crossing."

"Compared to Ha Long Bay, Mong Cai still has more tourists, which is due to the underdeveloped tourism service industry."

"Facilities: Not up to 4-star standard; considered budget hotel in China. Cleanliness: Overall, not bad. Environment: Typical for a small place; acceptable. Service: Front desk service is so-so. The restaurant's breakfast is very basic, just some ordinary dishes."

"Nice simple hotel at Mong Cai, comfortable sleep and nice shower. The proximity to the border is really interesting, though on this side there is not too much, a few restaurants but thats about it. Note: The location in google is correct relative to the streets etc. , BUT YOUR GPS DOT WILL BE WRONG! This is because of proximity to China hence the offset of GPS coordinates."

"I stayed at this hotel for three nights due to work. When I first arrived, rooms were quite tight, and only a windowless room was available. The front desk proactively offered to switch me to a different room for the next two nights, which I could do after my first night's stay. True to their word, they did move me to a slightly better room after the first night. Both rooms were similar in size, but the new one had a window, offering much better natural light, which I was very happy about. The overall comfort level of the hotel was high, and the hygiene was also good. The front desk service was particularly warm and thoughtful. Later, I stayed at a more expensive hotel in the city center, and the experience there wasn't as good as this one. While the location isn't ideal, with limited dining and massage options nearby, the affordable room rate makes up for it. The money saved on accommodation was more than enough to cover taxi fares. Staying at a city-center hotel, though it saves on transport, comes at a higher price and doesn't offer as good an experience. So, overall, I'm very satisfied, and if I have the chance to visit again, I would still choose this hotel."

"The hotel was quite clean and nice, located in the city center, just a few hundred meters from the border crossing. My family was very satisfied."
