Costello Hotels - Seagate Moonta Bay ★★★★
"Our second stay here. We love the ocean view, watching the sunset while sitting on the most comfortable king size bed. Uninterrupted views of the ocean, and from apartment 3 also the jetty. Bar fridge, kettle, microwave and basic dishes supplied. There is a cafe right next door, or it’s only a quick drive to the Main Street of Moonta for the best cafes, restaurants, pubs. Highly recommend Capellas and Port Hughes Tavern for really good food. My only complaint is the lack of bench space in the bathroom. Nowhere to put your toiletries, makeup, hair products etc. I had to drag a dining chair into the bathroom to put my toiletries on. A missed opportunity with the desk/dresser in the room…a PowerPoint and a mirror there, and it would be the perfect place to do your hair/ makeup and charge up devices. Wifi was good. We always stay midweek which is quiet. I certainly wouldn’t want to be there if there was a function on in the function room which sits directly underneath the suites/ rooms. We would happily stay here again."
Costello Hotels - Moonta Bay Cabins ★★★
"Very good, very,"
Big4 Port Hughes Holiday Park ★★
Moonta Bay Accommodation ★★★
"Very hard to find because the premises are off the street, and you have to drive over a wide landing to get in. The cabins/cottages are reasonably priced when you consider the location, but when you consider the price for comfort, they are dismal. - Well-worn fittings and in desperate need of maintenance and upgrade. - Noisy neighbours, but you can't complain because the owners are offsite and don't tend to get involved. - King bed was well worn and uncomfortable, but worse than that, it's in a room made for a double. Very tight fit and uncomfortable/awkward for senior guests to manoeuvre in and out. - Power adaptor near microwave didn't work, so we had to relocate the microwave and TV for the duration of our stay."
Casa Moon-taEntire home in Moonta Bay, Australia ★★★
Absolute Beachfront on the cliff with easy stair access to the beach (BYO LINEN) ★★
