"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bushveld Terrace Safari Hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we started making our booking, the service was exceptional. We arranged a few special extras to celebrate my husband’s and son’s birthdays, and everything was beautifully set up in our room when we arrived. It made the occasion feel incredibly special, and the cake was honestly out of this world! A very special thank you to Simone, who assisted us with our booking and all the birthday arrangements. She even took the time to introduce herself when we arrived and personally made sure that everything was in order. That kind of personal attention really stood out and made us feel so welcome. Dinner was excellent — every dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The chef clearly knows exactly what they are doing! Our room was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The team even assisted us with getting firewood to take with us into Kruger National Park, which was incredibly helpful and just another example of how they went the extra mile for us. We only stayed for one night before continuing into Kruger, but from the friendly service throughout the booking process to the warm welcome and wonderful stay, everything was perfect. Thank you to the entire team for making our short visit so memorable and for helping us celebrate two special birthdays in such a beautiful way. We will most definitely be back!"

"the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay. when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience."

"This is a truly special place to stay, close to the town, and many restaurants nearby. Very relaxing pool area, and lounge. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, they even did a breakfast pack when we left early for one of our trips. Breakfast is served with pride, wonderful staff and great service. We have now stayed there twice, and will again on our next visit to Phalaborwa. If you want a place that is both comfortable and convenient for all that surrounds you, then choose ISO Bella Vita Guess House."

"We were very surprised with Sunbird Lodge on our first vist there! Dave the owners hospitality helps you to feel relaxed and secured! The room was clean and tidy, the linen fresh, beds comfortable, the room has everything in you need for a sleep over. He even arrange a dinner for us at a local restaurant. Breakfast was also very delicious and service very good the next morning. The place has a nice bushveld atmosphere and close to Phalaborwa gate to enter Kruger Park. Will defnitely stay here again!!!"

"This is the second time I've been here, and I mainly come here to relax at the end of my vacation. The beautiful lodge, lovingly designed down to the last detail, the warm atmosphere, the great service and the fantastic food allow you to unwind and leave nothing to be desired. In this context, the spa comes highly recommended. The lodge is practically on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park, the Drakensberg and the Blyde River Canyon. I hope for Ruan that he will soon receive his ranger's license for the Kruger Park and can do what he loves again: photography and going on safari. He is a professional at both. Incidentally, he took the beautiful animal photos in the lodge himself. That's how we met him at another safari lodge. Jenny, his wife, is a perfectionist when it comes to style, ambience, order and cleanliness, without being intrusive. The two of them really go out of their way to make your stay there unforgettable.
