"We got a back room .which we didnt want .the shower was leaking and Wi wasnt working as well as the Tv reception , .we were transfered to anorher bigger room which was appreciated with good service. in the New room .Wi fi worked but over the 2 days TV reception was in and out .so should be looked at .a good stay after that ."

"We stayed there on 26/1/24 for one night stay on our way south. The motel is obviously under new management. Couldn't understand the guy on the phone when I booked the room. Room was as expected. (we have stayed there before). Fluro light on bathroom was flicking, so pulled the starter out to stop it. Ceiling fan was disgustingly dirty. Looked at the credit card balance a few days later and found a separate charge of $3.00 as well as the room charge. Sent an email querying the $3.00 charge just out of principle. Judging from the guys response, he has no idea what the separate charge of $3.00 was for and to this point, no refund.. He also used the previous owner's email address with his response and made out it was from Alison. (the previous owner). This guy is clueless. Won't be back to this one again......."

"Everything from reception to the quality of the room was beyond expectations. The room was bright and cheerful and as far as cleanliness goes, I cannot remember a cleaner and fresher smelling motel room. The wifi and TV unit was easy to use and very up to date. The bed was comfortable. All in all we highly recommend this motel and if the opportunity arises would definitely stay here again."

"Wish I'd booked into the more modern part of the motel, we booked a budget room which was very brown in decor and dated but the newer part looked great. It did have all the motel things like a microwave, fridge etc. The spa jacuzzis were great and we really enjoyed the outdoor pools, the two under the shade sails were lovely. Staff were great and gave good advice on where to eat - we went to the Thai restaurant on the opposite corner which was excellent."

"This was part of our 'Sunshine Coast Road Trip'. Easy location to access. Very secure as the car park gates are locked at night. There are security grilles on all exterior windows. The room had a serviceable kitchenette and larger refrigerator than normal. Bedding was good, as was the bathroom layout. Hot water for shower and good water pressure. For the price this was a great stay. It would only be suitable for a short stay."

"This place has a fence all the way around it and the gate is closed all the time. Had to ring a buzzer just to get in and out. The place is old and in need of some care. When taking the extra pillows out of the closet they were covered in dead bugs. The breakfast that was included was very very basic with just bread and jams and maybe some cereals and old juices in a refrigerator. The staff was friendly, but a little slow to open the gate when we first showed up. You can tell this place was once vibrant and bustling, but that is not the case anymore. No I would not stay here again."

"The was the fourth time we have stayed at this motel in Moree and have been really pleased with its standards and staff. However, whilst it is still clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great king bed and large TV, we found the maintenance standard had really slipped, at least in our room No 20. Shelving missing off the refrigerator door, a bathroom door that didn’t close properly and needed shaving and no plug for the basin. The bathroom door is a natural result of building movement. I understand that. However, when we mentioned these to the owner/manager he seemed totally unaware of these things or that our basin was an old fashioned one that still needed a separate plug. Unfortunately because we have stayed there so often and this one of the more expensive motels in Moree, we did not do our usual inspection before accepting the room. Lesson learned!! 
To top it off we hardly got any sleep because of a very noisy outside air conditioning unit on the neighbouring room and our own air conditioner inexplicably turning itself on automatically, again very noisily at 2.30 in the morning. When we asked to move rooms the unhelpful take-it o- leave-it attitude of the owner decided us to cut our financial losses and check out rather than face another night."

"This motel is run by a really great family - I think this motel is here or 'established' for a reason and I think staying a few days you'll see that there is a family of sweet and caring people running this motel and I can only really communicate not to get the wrong idea if on a one-night stay. Had I stayed only one night rather than the three I did stay for, I wouldn't have realised, but by the end of the second day it started to add up. On that note, by the second day of my stay I could start to catch up on much needed sleep, benefit from the mineral rich artesian tap water, try a soak in the aquatic centre's spa virtually opposite the property, enjoy a quiet, low on stress, calming spacious street. If it helps, it's just good to live in regional Australia around a nice family, it was just the environment and the decency of the hosts. The best way to view this motel is to give it some time and you'll see that they have it all right, and that is why they have been in business for a relatively long time. However, I realise some customers might not fit well with this business but it's my belief that it's purely a coincidence not to book a long enough stay to see how great this motel is. Yet there are others such as myself who unintentionally booked more than two days and started to realise that the property has got it for other reasons. To summarise - enjoyed the serenity, the uncluttered Warialda Street, the harmony of being in a caring environment without pretence, and overall if my review is worth anything is to communicate to prospective guests that the motel is the way it is for an overwhelmingly kind-hearted reason."
