Maison Charrette ★★★

📍 Kimony road, Morondava

"There were few guests at the hotel. Wonderful, very nice girl at the reception. Very nice owner. They cooked the freshest shrimps for lunch. The room is clean. What can be improved - the fan in the room needs to be bigger."

📍 M7X9+X5C, Morondava

"Nice place to rest in the busy town of Morondava before flying out to the capital and after the long haul down from Kirindi .Rooms well appointed, decent internet in the hotel lobby and bar area, plus local mobile phone service pretty good. Food great, staff all very helpful and polite. Aircon in the rooms which made a difference after two weeks of no aircon elsewhere."

📍 NOSY KELY, Morondava

"We stayed for 3 nights while in Morondava. Rooms were large and comfortable. In room safe, air conditioning, fan, blow dryer, free wifi (sometimes sporadic). Nice pool looking at the sea with lounger chairs and umbrellas. Easy access to the beach and watching locals. Some women stop by to sell wares. Security round the clock. Restaurant meals available. Dinner entrees 30,000, salad 20,000, alcoholic drinks, breakfast is 30,000 or under. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. You can build up a tab and pay with cc."

Cap Kimony ★★★

📍 route de la plage de Kimony, Morondava

"Amazing hotel! Very secluded, but that makes it just as special. A 10-minute walk to a beautiful and quiet beach. The staff was super friendly. The bungalows were very clean and beautifully decorated. Hot water! The food was delicious! The best we had in Madagascar. Very beautiful pool and a cozy restaurant shaped like a boat. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

Hôtel Palissandre Morondava ★★★★
"I had an excellent stay at Palissandre Morondava. The hotel offers a beautiful setting right on the beach, with stunning sunsets and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-designed, combining comfort with a local touch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant serves great food with fresh ingredients, and the pool area is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Morondava ; highly recommended!"

Laguna Beach ★★★
"We stayed here for 2 nights after a visit to Tsingy. It was perfect! The rooms were ready for us, and there were porters to help with the bags. The lodge, restaurant, and pool are right on the beach. The beach is also very quiet and it was lovely to just walk along it and play in the sand and water. It's also nice to walk on the road- there are some Malagasy restaurants and craft stores. The restaurant staff are very friendly, and the menu is very large. They had a few vegetarian options. The pool is very clean and lovely to swim in- though it was cold! They unfortunately do not provide housing for drivers, but might offer you a 'discounted rate' (60,000 Ar). Make sure you agree on this price at the beginning. Also, they generally don't take credit card- it likely won't be a problem if booking/paying in advance though. The hotel is on the higher end price-wise, but it is really a delightful hotel and was the highlight of our trip for many. A great place to unwind, grab a cocktail, get a massage, and just relax on the beach!"
