"Terrible food, hard to do worse Hot dishes served cold, vegetables not really cooked, very poor quality food. Mainly German and Slavic clientele"

"We have been each year since 2023 and every time has got worse. We came this year with our young son who is 10 months old and booked a higher room (junior suite with sea and pool view) so we could see the evening entertainment which was now moved inside. We were not told of this as in previous years (sept) the entertainment has been outside. We were told it’s cos it’s now cold but the temperature was 35 degrees. Food is never not and it’s much of the same every day with a recycled dish of what was served at lunch now served for dinner. Reception messed up check in. Not enough staff and most staff we miserable. Transfer time is nearly 2 hours so think of this before booking as Jandia is far away from the airport! The guest manager Marina is normally very friendly and approachable, I felt this year nobody really seemed to care. The cleanliness we have never had an issue with, always clean and towels changed and toilet paper daily. Water changed daily in our room. Entertainment team are always lovely, but it’s year there didn’t seem to be any get up and go. No usual trying to include everyone. No games for the kids. Pool bar closes at 6pm along with the pool. Getting a sunbed was easy, some of the lifeguards are great, others are more interested in smoking down the side of the building. I hate writing a negative review, as I said it’s a beautiful place and a nice hotel but it being badly managed and the vibe is off this time. Something has changed and we can’t decide what it is."

"This is our third visit and once again everything regarding this hotel is first class . All the staff are very friendly and helpful , nothing is to much trouble . Everywhere is spotlessly clean . The food is great , lots of choice for me being a vegetarian. Would definitely recommend this hotel . And will be back soon ."

"We had a very enjoyable week at Riu Palace Jandia in July 2026. The hotel offered what we had been looking for - delicioua cousine, no hustle or towel wars at the swimming pool and friendly, hospitable staff. It was a first week of three we have spent on the island, and the 2nd hotel we went was not even close to the quality bar the RIU Palace had raised."

"The hotel location was wonderful and the food was very tasty, but Manuel (bald guy with glasses), who worked in the dining area, was a very unpleasant man. Lunch was served until 3:00 PM, and we arrived at 2:40 PM thinking we could quickly eat something in 5 minutes because we were not very hungry. Manuel apparently thought we wouldn’t understand the Spanish expression “¿Ahora?!” and started looking at his watch in an annoyed way because he had already set the tables. We still had 20 minutes to calmly finish our lunch, but we felt rushed because of the way he was looking at us. After that, for the rest of our stay, he behaved very strangely — either being overly fake-friendly or making fun of us. This man should not be working in this hotel if he dislikes his job so much."

"Hotel is lovely, fabulous room and balcony. Could do with an umbrella but with the wind probably not practical. Spotless and the cleanest general toilets I have ever seen. The bar in the foyer being open more hours. Staff are lovely and friendly and very obliging and obviously enjoy working there. Food fine but could have done with a bit more variety but a lovely break in January."

"We arrived at 20.00 and I was'nt sent details for how to get in until we were on our way to the airport on the day so I was a bit anxious. We parked in the villae car park and found the keysafe easily enough. We then had to find our room in the dark. The apartment was spacious and clean with everything you need. I was able to get a kettle from reception the next morning. Although we could see the pool and sun loungers we never managed to find our way to them as the signage was non existent and the building is a really weird shape. There's a big Spar supermarket about two minutes away. The location in the village is great. These apartments are basic and cheap and for what we paid we were highly satisfied."

"The apartment location is probably the best we've ever had, offering amazing sea views. We had a quiet double bedroom which is more than adequate with safe in the wardrobe. The shower room was also adequate. The living area/ kitchen is big, leading onto a large balcony with an amazing sea view. Lovely furniture in a clean environment, it's ideal for a relaxing holiday. The sitting room also had a sofa bed. We will definitely be coming back here. Thanks to the lovely staff for make our stay so good."
