"It was my wife Wendy's 60th birthday on 1st December so this trip was part of her birthday present, when the hotel found out we came back from a lovely day out to find that they had left a lovely bottle of bubbly for her. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially Birte on reception. The location of the hotel was superb with it being on the beach front and elevated way above the path below which meant an unspoilt view of the sea. Our room was no.14 and I must say it was extremely comfortable and very clean. The food and drink was of a very high quality and plenty of it! We hope to visit again this time next year to warm our cold English bones."

"The Hotel Calypso is run by the TUI group, so is clean, well-appointed and has great efficient staff. We were late arrivals, so it was a pleasant bonus to be told at check-in that a plate of food was left in the dining room for us - a great start to the holiday. Location is excellent as the beach is just across the walkway, local cafes & bars are a short walk and as Calypso is south facing, the sun shines into apartment for most of the day. The only minor quibble is the absence of hair shampoo - current airline restriction mean we all try omit as much as we can, so shampoo in addition to the shower gel would be nice."

It was exceptionally clean and far more spacious than we expected, providing a perfect, comfortable retreat after a day in the sun. Prime Location and Amenities The hotel’s location is unbeatable, perched on a rocky outcrop with breathtaking panoramic views of the golden Jandia beach. Having direct beach access and being just a short walk from the charming old town of Morro Jable made our daily outings so convenient. We also thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor pool overlooking the ocean. Outstanding Gastronomy The food at the resort was truly exceptional. From the extensive morning and evening buffets featuring fresh live cooking stations to the excellent choices at the Krystal fusion restaurant, every meal was delicious, hot, and offered an amazing variety of dishes. What We Liked Best (and Least) Best: The combination of the warm hospitality from the staff, the sheer comfort of the large and clean rooms, and the fantastic, high-quality dining options. Least: If we had to mention one minor area for improvement, the gym is on the smaller side with a limited selection of equipment. While it serves for a basic workout, it is a bit modest compared to the high standard of the rest of the resort's facilities. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality getaway!"

"Stayed for 14 days in this lovely resort. Could not rate these apartments highly enough. Located in an ideal position 3 minutes walk from the sea front, shops, bars and restaurants. Quiet, immaculately clean, spacious, and well maintained. No problem with arriving late. We just followed the instructions on the door. Simple. Lift worked every time. Ceiling fans in the lounge and bedroom. Portable fan included. We're British and love our tea. No ado about a kettle just boiled water in the pan, but on reading previous reviews, we could have asked fir a kettle. Just didn't make a fuss. Linen and towels changed every 4 days, and a good spa supermarket 2 minutes away out of the front door and across the road to the right. Great value for money. Enjoy, we did."

"Excellent Apartments. Great Staff.. Fabulous location and amazing views. Fantastic balcony to sunbathe. Eating elfresco. Experiencing sunsets.. Amazing boats and seeing nature uninterrupted. Really enjoyed the experience.. Only problem to make is the logistics in terms of steps and high slopes to property for people who have mobility issues.. Other than that great ond amazing holiday.. "
