"Great location, and we loved the hotel restaurant. My only minor complaint is that some items mentioned in the listing, like an iron or a fridge, were missing. But overall, it was pretty nice."

"As part of Soraka’s Tour package, I was required to stayed at Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel. Unfortunately, this hotel had dirty sheets, and a headboard with old and peeling material that constantly flaked onto the bed. Also, upon my arrival there was no hot running water. After more than 18 hours of travel, it was a major inconvenience to not be able to shower after a long day of travel. I tried to reach the owners of Soraka Tours, as I was in need of immediate assistance, but I did not receive an answer until the next morning. This was surprising, as one of the owners actually live in Moshi. Additionally, the hotel did not have internet service, so it was very difficult to communicate with love ones to let them know that I arrived safely. Later, I was told by Soraka Tours that this was one of the better hotels in Tanzania. I have stayed at several Tanzania hotels in the past, and know that this is not true, and that there are plenty of great hotels in Moshi that have hot running water, and do not require their customers to sleep on dirty sheets. Please see the attached pictures. I immediately asked to be moved to a new room, but was not allowed to do so until the next morning, as they claimed not to have any available rooms. Unfortunately, I had a sleepless night as I had to sleep on a chair for the entire night. I learned the next day that the hotel was actually half empty as it was off-season for tourists. This is not the service that I expected from Soraka Tours. There are more experienced and established tour companies that have a proven track record, as it pertains to service and offer much better accommodations to their clients. My advice - Soraka’s commitment and promise to giving clients the best experience was not provided and my overall experience, including the accommodations, was horrible."

"Lovely staff, food pretty good, a small compact footprint with a decent pool/ bar area. Rooms are compact but clean and suitable. The attraction is the views of Kilimanjaro (room 401/402 especially). A decent spot to base yourself in Moshi."

"Nguchiro is a great place to rest in the middle of your Tanzania adventure! We stopped in between our Safari and going to Zanzibar. The rooms are comfortable, the food is good and the service is amazing! They were always avaiable to order us a tuktuk, a transfer or make us lunch. I would definitely recommwnd it!"

"Shocking experience here. Booked for one night and they had overbooked and did not have a room. Gabriel the owner refused to cancel the non refundable booking. Tried to offer us into a room in a house 4km away which did not even have a sink. What a con man. DO NOT STAY HERE. A thoroughly unpleasant experience. The worst hotel experience I have ever had."

"I couldn't ask for a better hotel. The rooms were very clean and even had mosquito nets. Unused rooms were aired daily. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner on the rooftop, which was delicious. Even when I didn't have any other business, I could relax on the rooftop and enjoy the view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind. They arranged a cheap bus from the hotel to Dodoma and even provided a pickup service from the bus stop. They also organized a coffee tour for about $35, provided packed lunches and water, and even hiked to the village waterfall, making it a very affordable tour. They were always concerned about us and honestly quoted prices, so it was clear they weren't just after our money. They were always there to help us with anything, like recommendations for good restaurants nearby. If you're ever in Moshi, I highly recommend giving them a try."
