"We came into the hotel at 8pm on the 12th of June after a long days drive (mumbai - jodhpur flight and jodhpur - Mount abu drive). On reaching the hotel, we were warmly greeted by Mr Ajay and his team of Naeem and colleagues. We were escorted to our room and even helped with keeping our baggage at spots We wanted to have them kept at. I must also mention that there was a table and a chair in the room and we asked them to remove the same and without a word and with a smile on their face they did this. We went down to their outdoor garden where they have live music singing as well as a magic show for dinner. I would like to point out here (without any disrespect to anyone) that we didn't know till the time that we got to the hotel, that this is a pure vegetarian hotel. We being non vegetarians were a bit disappointed but...their vegetarian food is outstanding and can be eaten again and again. The next morning I met Mr khanna (GM of the hotel) and Mr John (head of F&B). Both men are men of few words and give you 110% action in their services. They say that a hotel is only as good as it's manager and his team and here...this hotel goes out of their way to make the customer feel at home and well looked after. I must also make special mention of the dining staff at this hotel who would assist you with all the food that was out at breakfast and they would tell me how to go about eating a certain dish (Rajasthani or gujrati breakfast) that i had not eaten before and their warmth again was fantastic. All in all, team Hotel Hillock, thanks a ton for the super hospitality and stay at your hotel and hopefully will be back soon to stay again at your beautiful premise. Thank you. "We enjoyed our time at forest eco resort, loved the concept and overall property experience, you will feel as if you are amidst the forest itself. Plenty of spots to chill and have amazing views. Food was amazing too. Service is great which makes the overall experience worth it. We booked the wooden room with valley view and the view was mesmerizing. Thankyou for having us. P.s.- The hotel is located 500 meters from the main road and travel was easier since we had our own car."
