"We stayed overnight in a pet friendly cabin and it was the best accommodation we’ve had on our road trip from the NT to Gold Coast. The cabin was spacious and had a small fenced back yard so the dogs could roam free. The bed was super comfy and the cabin had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and gave us great advice on where to eat etc. I’d highly recommend anyone travelling with dogs to stay here. "

"Mount Isa is not a pretty town but the motel was very spacious and set on a main road overlooking the city. Due to a puncture we had to extend a one night stay to a four day stay. The owners were very accommodating and whilst not ideal we made the most of it. Mainly looking for a replacement tyre which out of three outlets not one was to be found and so had to limp to the next town where a new tyre awaited us. So thank you Townview. Like all the places to stay in central Australia parking and getting around was easy."

"This is a great little Caravan Park. Shady sites with slabs. Large central amenities block & laundry. Camp kitchen &"magnesium" s pool (not heated !!). Was quiet at night and close to everything in town . Perfect for our visit to Mt Isa ! No hesitation in recommending !"

"I must say that without a doubt this is the friendliest and most welcoming motel that I have stayed at in many years. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the time I called to make a reservation. We were going to be late, after 8:00pm, driving from the NT. We were told that the arrival time didn’t matter and they would make sure our key and room was ready. Around 8:00pm staff called to make sure we were travelling safely and to check for an update on our ETA. Once we arrived we received a warm welcome and even though the kitchen was closed they still arranged a meal for us. The room is clean, well appointed, quiet and comfortable. We then found out that the motel is pet friendly!! Next time we travel with our furry family we will definitely stay here. There is ample sizeable parking at the room which makes unpacking after a day on the road that bit easier. There is even a bucket and window squeegee to clean your windscreen. A complimentary cheese board on arrival, who does all this these days? Nobody else!!! We will definitely be staying here on our return journey and will tell all our friends and colleagues about this gem so they too can enjoy this oasis."

"Reception service was great and welcoming. Only problems I had with the room was the sanitary bin in the bathroom was half full from previous guests. The shower floor hadn’t been cleaned as it had sandy/grainy remains on the floor as well as a dead bug. The door handle into the room could easily be wiggled and did make me feel unsafe thinking someone may be able to get in easier."

"This motel must have a new Manager or a new owner as our experience was not up to the standard we had a couple of years ago. I requested two rooms on the ground floor; that did not happen, instead we were assigned two rooms on the first floor closest to the traffic on a very noisy road. One of the units had a broken toilet lid and the rubbish bins in both units needed to be replaced. We asked the Manager for a new tea towel as the one in the unit was so thin: the one he supplied was very poor quality with holes in; should have been relegated to the rag bag. All in all a bad experience, and would not stay again."
