GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay here! Travelling alone, I felt really welcomed by the owner, Mr. Wang, and his family — they treated me like a friend. We even went on a trip together to see how the famous Emei Mountain tea is grown, which was a fantastic experience. Mr. Wang gave me a calligraphy lesson and showed me around the area, including several Buddhist temples. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and surrounded by great local restaurants. It’s also within walking distance of the Emei Mountain Tourist Centre, which makes it a perfect base for exploring. I’m really grateful for the kindness and hospitality I received — highly recommended!

MM12413****Choosing the Hongzhushan Zen Retreat (also known as Building 7 of Hongzhushan Hotel) for my trip to Mount Emei was the best decision I made, and my parents also had a great stay. We opted for a mountain-view room; the balcony offered a delightful experience with birdsong, though the mountain felt a bit imposing at night. Next time, I might try a pine forest room instead 🤣. The room was spotlessly clean with no hidden corners, and the water pressure was just right. Complimentary mineral water was thoughtfully placed in the hallway for guests to take, which was super convenient. The room also had a capsule coffee machine; enjoying a private hot spring soak daily with a cup of coffee was incredibly comfortable—two days simply weren't enough! Moreover, the butler, a lovely lady, was warm and patient, clearly explaining local dining options and hotel information, and even provided helpful hiking advice that eased my concerns. Our whole family successfully reached the summit and witnessed a breathtaking sea of clouds, making the trip absolutely worthwhile. The breakfast selection was extensive, featuring local Emei Mountain specialties like rice cakes and tofu pudding, which were delicious. Before check-in, a staff member proactively contacted me to inquire if I needed pick-up service. Although I didn't use it, it's a definite plus! Finally, upon departure, I booked a complimentary drop-off service at the front desk. The mini-bus ride to Emei Mountain Station only took 10 minutes. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Mount Emei 😌

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

Ppxq200****The room was excellent, very clean, and overall, the amenities were top-notch. It felt more like a JW Marriott than a Le Meridien. The grounds were tidy. After dinner, it was lovely to stroll around the lake and then soak in the hot spring. However, because it was New Year's Day holiday, I felt the hotel wasn't fully prepared. I anticipated a delay in getting the room ready, so I arrived at 4 PM, but didn't check in until 5:30 PM. While checking in, there were even two other guests arguing about delayed room access. That said, both Trip.com and the hotel's subsequent handling of the situation was very thorough, preventing too much inconvenience. Trip.com's handling was particularly good. Thank you. I guess I've taken advantage of Trip.com's excellent service twice now. Oh, and the hot spring tub in the room had a really strong flow and was very hot; it filled up in about 10 minutes. The small platform by the lake was also very nice.

MM307094****Our stay here was very comfortable, and we always choose this hotel whenever we visit Mount Emei. The kids' play area is great for an hour of fun. The front desk staff was very welcoming and even upgraded us to a room with a balcony, which had a fantastic view. Our child absolutely loved soaking in the hot springs – they were very clean and didn't have that strong sulfur smell, which was a big plus. After a relaxing soak, we enjoyed sleeping in, it was just perfect! Our child really liked it, and we'll definitely book here again next time. Plus, it's only a 10-minute drive to grab some delicious fried skewers and Qiaojiao beef!

MmorgenmaoThe room was well-equipped, and the bath towels were specially sterilized and individually sealed, ensuring impeccable hygiene. The latex pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable! Despite our late arrival at 10:30 PM, the staff still greeted us warmly. Upon learning that our child enjoys yogurt, they thoughtfully prepared yogurt, fresh welcome fruits, and snacks for us. The breakfast was also quite good, featuring freshly cooked bacon. The beef and pork rib noodles were delicious, and the complimentary fruit tea was very tasty. My only minor suggestion would be if they could offer freshly ground coffee!

GGuest UserGreat service from all the staff here, who took good care of our needs during our stay. The free transfer from train station to the hotel is convenient. Special mention to Mr Li, the manager of the hotel, who was easy to deal with, and he tried his best to resolve issues during our stay.
The hotel is renovated within last few years, looks good, is clean, but the functionality of the rooms is not as well designed as it could have been. Having said that, it was overall a pleasant stay.
Location of the hotel is within a short walking distance to the Tourist Centre to enter Emeishan, and is situated right next to the river. Restaurant options nearby are limited however, and many not opened, perhaps due to current low season for tourists. Hotel breakfast is descent with reasonable range of food to choose from.

FFengcongyunThe hotel's customer service upgraded my room to one with a terrace, which was really nice. You can directly wear your bathrobe to the hot spring area from the hotel, as it's all accessible through the same lobby, which is very convenient. You won't feel cold at all. The hot springs are great, with two small indoor pools and a wave pool, all heated. There are many outdoor pools too. After soaking, you can also enjoy a sauna, which is very comfortable.

MM530995****It’s my first time here and the scenery is breathtaking, unexpectedly beautiful. We were so lucky to encounter a heavy snowfall. Then we saw calligraphy works everywhere in the Jingjing Building, especially the big Chinese red character ”Fu”. Everything was fresh 💐. The blooming wintersweet flowers had a faint fragrance, and the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year was full. The customer service was also very considerate. The room had air conditioning and heating. Looking out through the balcony viewing window of the room, the green mountains covered in silver were particularly charming. At night, I fell asleep accompanied by the heavy snow that made the little potato in the south very excited. What I liked most was his quilt, which was soft and clean. I could lie down and relax all night until dawn, and all the fatigue of the year would be put aside. I kept absorbing negative oxygen ions in the morning, and I will come again next time!
By the way, their bamboo shoots are also a major feature. Of course, my favorite is the twice-cooked pork, which is very delicious when eaten with rice.
