Good and bad experience Everything about this property is amazing Food is good Service is top notch Location is excellent The only thing which I don't understand is at the time of checking in the room they don't tell exactly how many bath towels or face towels are placed in room before or any such amenities but after checking out they will just check the room and tell you very politely that 1 or 2 face towels are missing and you have to pay for it. My only question to the owner or management team is that how can you or your staff can accuse the guests without even letting us know how many were there before. We also trust your hotel staff with our luggage while checking in but we don't accuse you for such things. If the management has made this rule to check the room at the time of checking out then please make sure that guests knows exactly what all amenities are provided by you and the quantity also at the time of checking in. And if the management has not made any such rule then please take care of these small things as these kind of bad experiences ruins all the good ones. Hopefully nobody else has to go through this in future. And yes everyone should do visit this amazing property at least once of they are seeking for relaxing holiday

Fantastic property as it opened in 2025, slightly away from the lake but really amazing property to stay in. Welcomed with a Tilak on forehead (Indian ritual) and a welcome drink - shots of orange juice. Amazing staff members, very helpful but felt something was missing. Due to the wedding season, it took a bit longer but it was worth it. Rooms are spacious and beautifully done, but our room was dirty and the bed linen had to be changed as it was not clean - had marks of make up and hair on the bed. Breakfast was amazing, restaurant on the topfloor had an amazing service and starters were great, Biryani chicken was not well done and had to be sent back. Pool is tiny but on the rooftop, so worth it. Can totally recommend it.

excellent on all counts, and beautiful hidden gem. I would love to go there and spend some more time given a chance. Staff were excellent, the rooms were lovely lodge style and all in all really the place is an oasis in the desert.

Owner let us early checkin and late checkout top notch hospitality and a very comfy stay. He even arranged transportation for us for city tours setting the standards

We really enjoyed our stay at Zana Lake Resort. The views of Udai Sagar Lake from the room were simply breathtaking. we honestly couldn’t take our eyes off it. The whole property has a very peaceful vibe, beautifully designed and well-maintained. The restaurant is fully vegetarian. We opted for à la carte and tried Paneer Tikka Masala for lunch and Gutta Curry for dinner — both were average. Breakfast, however, was much better with good options. The swimming pool is very clean and well-kept, and just like the rooms, it offers stunning views of the lake. Their garden is also very pretty and nicely maintained. Rooms are spacious, clean, and come with almost all amenities. A hair dryer is available on request. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to relax and soak in the lake views.

The property is awesome and the stay was overall good. Only the check-in experience could have been made better as they took 40 mins to provide us the rooms.

I recently stayed at Hotel Shambhu Villas and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the City Palace and other major attractions. The highlight for me was the rooftop restaurant with an amazing view of the Udaipur skyline and the City Palace lit up at night. The room was clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. Staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay. I also appreciated the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the effort they put into maintaining it. Breakfast was decent, and while the rooftop pool is small, it’s a great spot to relax in the evening. For the price, this place offers excellent value and a royal Udaipur vibe. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

I booked a lake view room for 3 days and i must say the view from my room was mesmerizing i cannot put it in words. The room was good neat and clean. The staff was cooperative. I would recommend this property to those who are planning for udaipur. One more thing about this property is the most popular attractions like city palace, jagdish mandir, bagore ki haweli are at walkable distance.

Excellent stay with the family. A little rough and lengthy check in, noisy corridors with people shouting across the halls and balconies even late at night. BESIDES the above we had a fantastic stay. Very courteous and helpful staff and teams, great housekeeping, superb breakfast. Will definitely recommend and visit again.
