The hotel has all that you need for comfort as a tourist. You are only a block away from the Munich Hbf so walking to the hotel with luggage was no problem. Proximity to the train station was essential for me since I used Munich as base while taking several train trips. The front desk staff is helpful and made it easy for someone who speaks very poor German. The rooms are sizeable by European standards and very comfortable. Fitness center was acceptable. You are about 4-5 long city blocks away from getting to Neuhauser Street and main shopping district (about another 3 blocks to Marienplatz) so if you mind the walking then maybe not the place for you, but I had no problem with it. Several restaurants within close walking distance (albeit not fine dining) and an Aldi's next door. One one hand nice to see a very diverse area in the immediate neighborhood, but also some sketch figures, but encountered no real problems (albeit a few odd visuals that I will not share). The breakfast was very good and I generally at eenough that lunch was not even a need or a consideration. Overall, well worth it.

The hotel is very good, clean, comfortable, welcome. I hesitated between 4 and 5 stars because there is no WiFi connection in all rooms, in any case, in our room, there was no one for the 3 days we were there. I don't think this is a temporary problem, but simply that in some parts of the hotel you don't get it. I went to the hospital (in the entrance hall) to enjoy it. However, I gave the maximum of stars because the receptionists were very friendly, there were friands in the entrance hall, the maintenance ladies were welcome and have The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, and it is very good to stay in the hotel.

The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and is located in the centre of the city. The latter, however, can also reach walking. I left the car in the underground parking, free and very comfortable. The room was very clean, modern (small for 3 people but not for 2) and suitable for the comfort levels of this kind of hotel, but NOT for the swelled price that all the reception facilities in Monaco have during this period of the year. the same room would cost € 289 in a month ... Breakfast, instead, would not be suitable in both cases. Very scarce. Personal parque de sorrises. Surely I would come back, during the party. Hello.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the A&O Laim and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! This charming hotel exceeded my expectations in every possible way, making my trip to Munich truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to find my room to be clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The modern decor and cozy ambiance instantly put me at ease, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. With a wide variety of options ranging from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty eggs and breads, there was something to satisfy every palate. The dining area was spacious and well-maintained, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough for their exceptional service. The hotel has a lot of rooms, tidy, clean, comfortable, and convenient transportation nearby, but some rooms in the hotel do not have a hair dryer. I found out that there was no hair dryer after washing my hair last night. I called the front desk to ask for it. I waited for almost an hour and no one answered. Finally I opened the door, and a Chinese man just passed by in the corridor. By luck, he had a hair dryer in his room, so he was able to dry his hair...

I stay at Stay2Munich every time I go for business trip to Munich. Room is equipped with small kitchen, which is useful, especially for longer accomodation. Bed is very comfortable, room is quiet and dark. Staff is always smiling and very friendly. For breakfast, you can choose from wide range of food. There are many shops and grocery stores next to hotel, as well bus connection directly next to hotel. In case of having a car, there is big parking lot in hotel basement or outside as well. On top of that, sauna, small gym and restaurant are available in the hotel!

L'hôtel est aisément accessible, un peu en dehors de la vieille ville, donc un parking aisé. Les chambres sont propres fonctionnelles et la literie est assez correcte. Le petit déjeuner se prend dans le restaurant Grec attenant, il est complet, sans exagérations. La climatisation est silencieuse et heureusement car la ventilation de la salle de bain est infernale. Elle tourne en permanence et est bruyante a tel point que l’on a du enlever la carte de commande de l’électricité de la chambre pour la stopper. La salle de bain présente des problèmes d’ergonomie, dérouleur de papier mal placé donc on s’y cogne, la vitre de la douche trop courte donc on mouille partout… L'espace entre la télévision et le lit est insuffisant, on se cogne donc également contre la télé. Le petit déjeuner se fait dans le restaurant Grec attenant, et les ‘bacs bain marie ne tenaient pas » les œufs ont fait le grand plongeon mais ils n’en mettent pas d’autres… Aux vues de tout cela c’est trop chère pour ce qui est proposé.

GGuest UserWe are here now. Reserved 2 rooms to accommodate 4 people, one for 3 adults, the other for 1 adult. They brought us a roll away bed for the 3rd adult and when I asked the front desk, they said they had no rooms to accommodate 3 adults with 3 proper beds. (Then why offer it as an option?). We were offered to move to a larger room, for the larger price, but would still only get the roll away bed for the 3rd adult. Accommodations…..incredibly dissatisfied. Especially for a 5 star hotel. We were ignored, not exaggerating, when we pulled up with our vehicle. While trying to parallel park to unload, 2 employees stood joking around. A colleague stopped what he was doing, interrupted them, and all but got in their face to tell them to help us! At this point I was pissed! And mind you, i was outside of the car and they had no idea i was with the car……so i was witness to it all. They were kissing the feet of the others (who were not wearing sweat pants) and legitimately IGNORED us. I was PISSED. Not because I’m stuck on myself, but because it’s so true. If you don’t LOOK a certain way, especially at this 5 star hotel, YOU WILL BE IGNORED. Don’t hate on me for my honest review. Just know that if TRUE luxury is what you’re seeking, no matter what you look like or what you drive, you may have better luck down the road. It’s not here. Best of luck and let’s hope I’m one of the few who has had to experience this.

The rooms are extremely well appointed and hold one great advantage over similar hotels in the vicinity of Munchen Hbf. ...... they feature kitchenette facilities (microwave, fridge and two electric rings). For supplies there is a Rewe supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff are fabulous; from reception to room service. Although Schilerstrasse may not be to everyone's taste the hotel is virtually at the Hbf. end of the street so a visitor, if he/she so wishes, can avoid the 'Hostess' bars which are further down the street. Within a 10 minute walk you are right in the main shopping centre of the city. All the main brewery run restaurants are also within a 30 minute meander ...... Weisses Brauhaus, Andechser am Dom, zum Augustiner and zum Franziskaner.

GGuest UserWhile the hotel stay was comfortable and the rooms a nice and clean we found the front desk staff rude and unhelpful. From the start they have shown no courtesy, I called up the hotel from the station to inquire about the location and landmark and found the person speaking to me couldnt care less about giving directions. Then when we arrived there, there was no one at the front desk. Since there are two Holiday Inns adjacent to each other we were confused as to which one is ours and kept the cab waiting to check. Finally we had to let the cab go as not one was there to answer our query. After a long wait the lady manning the front desk finally emerged from the cabin and was very rude with us. She couldnt find our reservation, we had to panic call the booking.com customer service and incurred a huge mobile bill for the international call only so that we could confirm our booking. She insisted we had not paid for our rooms and we had to argue and show proof of payment. Any query we had about the hotel amenities or sightseeing were unhelpfully answered. The person who looks after the snacks corner was the only congenial and courteous person. The hotel is within walking distance of a train station and the bus stop is right outside the drive way, There are some good restaurants about 5- 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Lidl is a stones throw away so are a few other grocery stores. Once you get the hang of the place its pretty convenient. The only reason why the rating is average is because the hotel is good and the rooms were comfortable and neat. Otherwise only based on their customer service it would be poor.

GGuest UserThis hostel is awesome. The staff are really helpful and accommodating. We came a few hours before the check in time (1500 hrs) and we were greeted, checked in and shown somewhere to securely leave our luggage while they prepared our rooms. The room itself (ours was a 10 person) is clean, with clean sheets and a very clean en-suite bathroom/shower. The rooms have air conditioning, however it was very warm at the time of our visit so I think it was struggling. Nonetheless the room felt homely and has a locker to put your valuables/clothes in (like a football locker). The breakfast is a continental breakfast priced at €8. There are many meats and cheeses along with: cereal, bread, fruit, yoghurt, juices, coffee and scrambled eggs. The breakfast is a buffet so you can really make the most of it for €8 per person. The bar area itself is very nicely decorated, and run by very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this hostel to everyone. Wether you’re looking to chill out or party this hostel has everything. Would like to say a huge thanks to Kimom and Giorgos in particular. They made our visit extremely fun and provided many suggestions as to where we should go/ avoid. I have no doubts the rest of the staff are the same, but these guys made it extra special. Thanks dudes!

GGuest UserI booked this based on a 4+ tripadvisor rating. Our recent experience doesn't seem to match others experience. The room ( on the 5th floor) didn't have air conditioning, no kettle, the shower over bath was just not up to standard, the layout of the room was just not good. The lighting was awful to put it mildly. In short it did not remotely resemble the photographs that the hotel uses on Booking.com. which seem to be the refurbished rooms on floors 1 - 4. On the plus side it was clean and bed adequately comfortable. There are no restaurant facilities in the evening currently available. The area around the hotel isn't great. There are, let's call them, nighttime clubs for men in the immediate area, and I didn't feel very safe after dark, but on the plus side it is close to transport links in very easy reach of main train station. To sum up, it's not the worst place I've stayed but wouldn't recommend or stay again.

GGuest UserWe had booked a city hotel in Munich for a 4-day holiday for a sightseeing. The location, price and size of a family room (for 2 adults and 2 children in school age) was crucial. The room, located on the first floor, was clean, solid furnished at first sight - all there you need, needed, but not habited. The bathroom was moderately large, little flat, toilet in the bathroom. The beds are acceptable, the sleeping sofa is suitable for children, adults would be rather unhappy here because of the hardness. The garage parking is nothing for weak nerves - an elevator brings the car into the cellar, there are (why not anyway) screamy place on which you stand. All is benign, dark, well. The breakfast was enough, well sorted - a little more yoghurt I would have liked. But from sauce, cheese, limon, marmelade, bakery, coffee (from the machine) , juices - all there. The staff was friendly, trying to always be ready to help or to solve disruptions immediately. Location: central, a few minutes from main station and Stachus. However, around the hotel, there are many multicultural shops with the appropriate client - as a woman I would feel rather unwell on the street alone. The cleaning was defect: once we received a very flack bathtub (which was immediately rechanged), a soap-created spot on the bath floor was all the time (at least 2 cleaning units) not removed, although it was more than clearly visible.

AAnonymous UserGood location There are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It is a ten-minute walk from the train station; the train station is surrounded by Turkish Street, so people may be miscellaneous. The hotel is also very clean, but there is no hot water bottle, and then the air conditioning in the room has no heating function (the radiator is also bad) and fortunately it is not too cold at the end of April. The room is soundproof, but the surrounding environment and the guests in the nearby room are quite quiet. Breakfast is a normal European buffet. Although the type is simple, it is quite satisfactory. Overall OK, cost-effective

Overall, I can't praise this hotel enough. The combination of excellent service, beautiful accommodations, and convenient location made my trip truly memorable. I will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
