Hotels near JR Otai Station, Nagoya

A bít old but still clean. But air-cond is too cold even I turned to the lowest level (out of only 3 levels). If you wanna do a lot of shopping. This may not be the right choice.

Comodo perché vicino alla stazione (uscendo a sinistra) prendete come riferimento l'hotel Raffine , il Mercure é di fronte ma ha l'insegna solo in giapponese ! Camere abbastanza grandi. Attenzione dopo le 9.30 non vi danno più la colazione (neanche sulle cose pronte a buffet) anche se il termine é alle 10.00 e sono anche scortesi !!

Location of the hotel is superb. It’s right next to Nagoya station with many choices of eateries in the same building. It also has a convenience store and pharmacy next to reception. The hotel is from level 15 onwards and has a great view of the city. Will stay in this hotel again next time we visit Nagoya.

Only 1 bottle of complimentary water per pax. Can’t believe a 5* hotel is so stingy in giving complimentary bottle of water in a hot summer day to keep guest hydrated. You need to pay 260 yen for 1 extra bottle of water. Other 4* or lower hotels give complimentary bottles of water when requested or have filtered tap water. Air condition is also not as cold even though have set the lowest temperature. The price point doesn’t justify the experience for a commoner like me.

We stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier from May 17th to May 20th, 2024, in a moderate double room, and had a wonderful experience. Location and Accessibility: Perfectly located in central Nagoya, the hotel offers easy access to attractions and public transport. Room: The moderate double room was stylish, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However the aircon in the room was not cold, the hotel had to provide us a portable fan and we have to open the window slightly to let the cool air in. I would have rated the facilities to be 5 stars if the aircon is cool enough. Service and Facilities: The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel amenities, including Wi-Fi were excellent. We didn't try the public bath though, it was very crowded. Overall Impression: Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier provided a fantastic stay with its great service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

Service excellent. Staff very nice, helpful and have a smiling face. On the other hand, the bed and pillow were too soft. Room very clean except the washing machine. I think the hotel forgot to check the washing machine during clean up. Buffet breakfast delicious though not many many varieites but yet enough already.

Very disappointed that the fitness center only can enter during 6:00am-8:00am is free! All other time slots you need to pay JP$3,300 per times. It definitely not worth if I need to pay this amount. Not very close to Sakae station as you need walk around 10 mins Staff is very friendly! But overall the hotel is overpriced compare with other hotels in Nagoya.

The hotel room is very clean . The bathroom is a bit small but it's ok because it is very clean also. The staff are accommodating. They offer free donuts and coffee at the lobby. Nearby there are lots of convenience stores, restaurants and shopping stores . Breakfasts is EXCELLENT. . i will surely book again when i come back to nagoya. The room rates are cheap and affordable.

I booked a room from 12/28/23 to 01/08/24. I came to Nagoya to visit my son who is a student at Nagoya Gakuin University. The Hotel was perfect for all my needs! I can’t praise the staff enough. My room was perfect! It was not a huge room but had everything I needed! It had a small refrigerator, a nice bathroom, a small area to hang any clothes, a good size tv and a comfortable bed! Housekeeping was very kind and made me feel very welcome! I have lived in several countries during my life but had never been to Japan. I came to Japan knowing no Japanese and was a bit nervous that I was on my own when I’d come back to my room and my son would retire to his dorm but the staff was very patient with me. I was slowly being taught some phrases from my son and when I needed to communicate further with the staff I used my translator app on my phone. At all times the staff were very kind and patient with me! I can’t praise them enough! I had everything I needed within a minutes walk from my hotel! A wonderful 3 level grocery/department store was around the corner from my hotel called Aeon. I was able to buy anything I needed from food, drinks, and clothing. There was even Dominos pizza around the other corner if you wanted that. Down the street in a different direction was a pharmacy and fast food like McDonald’s . Kanayama train station was right there in the middle of everything and I used this everyday!!!! If anyone is traveling to Nagoya I recommend staying here!! With the train station being located so close to the hotel you can be anywhere in no time. My son was in Hibino so I would take the subway everyday to meet up with him or vice versa! I was so proud of myself for being able after 1 day of being their to be able to get around on my own. I hope anyone that chooses to stay here has a wonderful experience just like me! Hotel is right in front of Legoland. You can check in to the Hotel before entering the park. Highly recommend buying the tickets on the official website- international credit card accepted. Legoland is my favorite theme park because there isn't a queue or a crowd. That means you can totally enjoy the park and literally go on your favorite rides many times! The staff at the park is super friendly and they make the rides, arcade games and shopping memorable. Apple fries is a must have! Breaded apple slices with cinnamon dipped in whipped cream is such a treat on a winter day. Although the parks opening hours are 10am to 5pm, it's more than enough time to enjoy the park and even sit down for a meal or snack. Lego Hotel is amazing with big rooms and theme amenities. There is a children makers park near by with glass, pottery and even an animal zoo for children to enjoy. Of course, there are many eateries- Korean, Kyoto beef Katsu, Ramen, ********* Bubble tea and shops. There is a beautiful night fountain with lights, song and movement to enjoy. Highly recommend making the trip to Nagoya Legoland and staying at Legoland Hotel.
