Horinji Spa ★★
"The service is thorough and efficient. It's a simple inn. For a hot spring inn with free-flowing natural spring water, this price is quite reasonable, wouldn't you say?"
Morito-Sha ★★★
"Loved the place and room so so much! It is inside / near temple compound, hence with the zen vibes that’s relaxing. Maki-san’s hospitality is wonderful! Explained in details about the place and schedule, loved her bubbly personality 😊 breakfast was delicious. Worth every penny"
Satoyama Auberge & Hot Spring Wellness Spa Sakuragaike Kurgarden ★★★★
"This hotel was a wonderful surprise. We had a few disappointments in our travels but this hotel wasn't one of them. Our room was spacious, clean, the air conditioner worked, breakfast was included and it was very, very good and it had a wonderful onsen. The onsen is open to the public but free of charge for guests. We all slept very well.We stayed in a triple room with 3 beds and it was very comfortable.Free car parking."
Fukumitsu Hanayama Onsen ★★★★
"The rooms are old. The building itself is old. However, it was kept clean, and the large public bath and dining area seemed to have been renovated and looked nice. All the staff were polite and had lovely smiles. While the food, both dinner and breakfast, didn't use particularly high-end ingredients, everything was delicious. The location is rather isolated, with only one hotel nearby, but you can enjoy everything within the hotel grounds, so I would like to go again."
Etchu Inami Machiya Ryokan Kokarian ★★★
"Both dinner and breakfast were delicious! However, the BGM at dinner was Western dance music, which didn't match the atmosphere and the food, so it felt a little uncomfortable. The service was polite and meticulous and comfortable."
Omaki Spa Kanko Ryokan ★★
"This is a secluded hot spring inn that can only be reached by boat. It takes 30 minutes by boat from the Shonai Gorge boat dock, but we enjoyed a cruise around the Shonai Gorge. The room was a beautiful Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats and a wide veranda. It is better to wear slippers or sandals to go to the open-air bath (for women). There were several people who came barefoot, but they said that it was very painful for the soles of their feet. There are also two open-air baths, but it is better to wear slippers when going to the open-air bath at the back. The open-air bath has good water and a nice view of the river. The washing area and bathroom of the women's middle bath are modern and clean. Lotions and other products are also available. The large bath, which you can reach by going down the stairs, has the atmosphere of a hot spring resort. There are three baths of different temperatures, one of which is deep. The hot spring is a nice, relaxing water with a slight sulfur scent. It was water that clung to the skin. Meals were served at the venue, at 6:00 p.m. in the evening and 7:30 a.m. in the morning. The dinner was very good and I was very satisfied. 13 dishes were brought out one after another, and each dish looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Local specialties such as white shrimp were used, as well as seafood such as blackthroat seaperch and conger eel. The roast pork and seasonal hot pot were also pork, and were very filling. I couldn't eat rice or soup, so I refrained. There were small amounts of various dishes for breakfast. There were steamed bread and grilled fish that I don't usually eat. I learned that the 7:30 breakfast time was timed to accommodate people who were boarding the 9:00 a.m. boat. (The boat leaves at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.) I felt that the hospitality of the meal was sufficient. There were quite a few stink bugs in the building and in the rooms, so if you hate bugs, be careful when staying there. The person who showed me to my room was a little rude. The front desk staff were very helpful, offering umbrellas when it was raining. On the return trip, it was raining, but I thought the scenery was even better in the rain. I think that a hotel you can stay at by boat will be a once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experience."
Fukuno Town Hotel A・Mieux ★★
"The breakfast was very delicious. I had to choose Western and Japanese food at check-in. I chose Western food and my family chose Japanese food, but both had a number of items and were very satisfied with a reasonable price. It was a little inconvenient to have to bring it by yourself because the amenities were not in the room. I couldn't get a hotel around Kanazawa, so I was taken care of here, but it was good because I was able to sightsee Gokasayama."
Métisse Stay ★★
Nakanoya ★★
"The hygiene wasn't great, but everything else was fine. The foreigners were friendly, and the food was quite good, including wild boar and rockfish. It's quite close to Levo, about a 1-hour walk. If you can't book accommodation in Levo, I recommend staying here."
