"It was lovely at first... for three days. Then, when the earthquake hit (an act of God), the hotel refused to accommodate us for the remaining two days we had paid for, not even partially. This completely ruined our experience. A real shame. The feeling of greed was palpable; I'm very disappointed."

"Nice accommodations. We rented the larger room with kitchenette and 2 smaller rooms for our adult children. The proprietor brought us ample gluten free breakfasts to our rooms. Great location within the walled town. As we were “off season” and arrived around 7pm, we were lucky to find a restaurant open. I think it was Bacca? Good food, good cocktails and very nice service. Great space in glassed atrium that was warm. Made for a lovely evening."

"Just returned from an 8 night stay at this wonderful hotel. Hotel is spotlessly clean and atmosphere is very relaxed. It is spread over 3 floors and in a quiet location in Slano. The staff at the front desk and main restaurant were all really friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Maria on the front desk who was especially helpful. If your looking for a quiet, peaceful location to stay with the luxury that this hotel offers, then I highly recommend it. The beachfront location is amazing and I really loved the fact that you can eat outside in the main restaurant overlooking the sea. The adriatic sea was warm to swim in and I used the outdoor pool (its huge!) and indoor pool and spa. Also special mention to Daniel who runs the spa wellness centre - we had amazing massage treatments from his team. The food in main restaurant was buffet style but there was always something you could eat. Here are my top tips: Location - The hotel is in Slano - a small town. There are a handful of restaurants within walking distance so bear this in mind if your booking bed and breakfast only. We stayed half board. We hired a car and were able to park on the outskirts of Dubrovnik and walk into Old Town. Excursions - we did an excursion around the Elaphiti islands from Slano harbour, 5 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel also runs excursions. You can also visit the town of 'Ston' which is a 20 minute drive from the hotel. It is a nice secluded area with walls you can walk up to and around. Overall, we had an amazing stay at the hotel admiral grand hotel and would highly recommend it."

"A lovely modern hotel set in a beautiful idyllic location and within a 30 minute walk to Slano. There is a lovely walk along a coastal path leading from the hotel to the village. There are ample of bikes available at the hotel. The free use of pedaloes, kayaks, paddleboards was an added bonus. The pool area attendant worked very hard and patrolled the waterfront, doing his best to keep guests safe. The sunbeds have no cushions but the shop at the hotel sell them costing €18 and a must. The rooms were modern, spotless and aircon was perfect ( v quiet). The restaurant was never overcrowded and the food was fresh with ample of choice. All the staff are friendly and work very hard. Overall, we had a relaxing holiday. Will definitely return to Hotel Osmine."
