The room is big and the breakfast is simple. There is an Indonesian middle-aged man at the front desk who is very enthusiastic. He lent me a charger and told me where to buy things, which touched me. The location is good, less than ten minutes walk from the New York University School of Engineering. It is very expensive on weekends.

Excellent location within a short walk to almost every subway line. Unfortunately that means it can be a little loud, but it never woke me up.
Incredibly friendly staff are always on hand, 24/7.
The included breakfast is more than adequate; bagels, juice, yoghurt, pastries.
The room has a good shower, comfy bed, and good TV with chromecast-ability.

The staff members were all excellent - helpful and pleasant and went all out to make the visit comfortable. The breakfast was a treat - all facilities were clean and convenient.

Traveled for my birthday with husband and our 2 daughters. Great and cute little hotel! Great location, very clean but rooms a bit too small. Steandly was amazing and is definitely the reason we would go back! His professional and exceptional service made our visit worth wild….I wish everyone’s work ethic was like his. Thank you again Streandly for the great service and the baked cookies always served at the reception: our daughters were ecstatic! See you soon! 🙏🏻🥰

Just returned from NYC after visiting friends and watching the Yankees play. Stayed in Brooklyn to be near to friends and really enjoyed our stay at the Nu Hotel. Clean, comfortable and well located. Staff was all courteous, friendly and professional. WiFi worked well. Despite being crowded, there wasn't chaos in the lobby. Will stay here again and would recommend it to others.

My 3rd stay at Nu. Location is great for my purposes, easy walking to great shops, dining, parks and attractions (Promenade, Dumbo, Bkln Museum, etc), and easy subway ride into Manhattan. Hotel is always very clean and well run, all staff I’ve interacted with are friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selections. Price is great compared to other Brooklyn hotels. You should know there’s big construction nearby but it’s only during the day (and who goes to NY to sit in a hotel room all day?). Night time is very quiet. There are other swankier/hipster hotels in the area but def more expensive. For the $, I think the Nu is unbeatable, and definitely will stay there again.

The hotel is in an area with good transport links and lots of eateries and shops. I personally prefer staying in Brooklyn instead of one of the more touristy areas like Times Square. There is a complimentary continental breakfast available in the lobby.

While this is not a plush hotel, it is pristinely clean and has just what we needed for an overnight. Great location. Very nice front desk. Highly recommend.
