Grand Hotel Sofia ★★★★
"Good and kind"
Masseria Della Volpe ★★★★
"This masseria is a gem - secluded on its own hill with views, lots of fruits tree and a sizeable vegetable garden (all organic), olive grove (makes its own very flavorful organic olive oil), a large swimming pool, tennis/basketball court, running path, mini-gym and spa. The breakfast was high quality in the restaurant with magical outdoor seating. The service is excellent and warm. We stayed in the 3BR apartment which is very spacious and luxurious. This is a get away from it all kind of place where you do need a car. Noto, Modica, Ragusa and the seaside are driveable distances to get meals and see the towns. Our most memorable experience is picking fruits and vegetables and eating/cooking them daily! All power is solar generated!"
Q92 Noto ★★★★
"Quite frankly, it was superb all round. Beautifully designed, right in the centre off the main square, breakfast was idillic on the balcony and also delicious. Super clean, extremely cosy with many courtyards, salons and corners to lounge in while absorbing beautiful snippets of the city. Our room looked out onto one of the churches. Then... there is the staff who are utterly brilliant, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable. In summary- they did not put a foot wrong."
Hotel Netum Mare ★★★★
"We had a great room, modern, spacious and comfortable with a good size balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a large and relaxing roof terrace with fantastic views. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come again."
B&B Vinci ★★★
"The property is new, clean, and conveniently located for visiting the Cathedral of San Niccolò. Annalisa was kind and helpful with recommending restaurants and bars for breakfast. Overall, it would be lovely to return!"
Hotel Club Eloro ★★★★
"We recently stayed at Club Eloro and I can honestly say this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is very dated with basic accommodation, tiny square shower with a plastic folding door. Really small balcony. The rooms were very clean, so housekeeping are doing a good job. The dinner buffet food was awful, if you found any meat, you’d done well! We gave up going in at lunchtime it was so poor. The breakfast buffet was better though, with a good selection. We ate at the Sicilian and Pizza restaurants and we paid a supplement of €10 and €15 respectively for the Mexican and Greek restaurants. The food was below average. For dessert in every restaurant, we received a tiny plastic pot of melted lemon ice with a plastic spoon, similar to what a toddler would expect. This was not representative of the desserts shown on the menus. The hotel certainly likes plastic, as I read in a previous review. Every drink was served in a plastic beaker, even beer and wine. I would expect that by the pool but not in the bars during the evening. The bar staff did not like using glasses. We had to hunt for wine glasses to take with us to dinner! Now the All Inclusive. When we arrived around 3pm, we enquired about a snack and were advised to go to shop across the road to get a sandwich, really?? The drinks are basic and served between 10am - 10pm. There is a supplement for lots of drinks that are not part of the All Inclusive. Guests had various coloured wristbands so I think it depends who you book with - we booked with EasyJet Holidays. There were only two members of staff, Laura at Front Desk and Enzo at Beach Bar, who were friendly and helpful. Others did not engage and were not friendly. The beach is lovely with clear blue sea! so that was of some consolation! I travelled with friends and we are ex travel agents. We would not recommend this hotel."
Mr & MRS Smith Seven Rooms Villadorata ★★★★★
"You feel like nobility the moment you arrive at this beautiful palace. Our room was simply gorgeous with high ceilings, lovely furnishings, huge windows and a balcony that looked out over the wonderful city of Noto. In addition we had a stunning sitting room just outside and an incredibly gracious staff that brought breakfast to our room every morning. All the details at the hotel are perfect, including the delicious cookies in the room. Most of all, the three people we met at the reception desk over our three day stay were kind, generous, and helpful. Nothing seemed like a problem and they provided great recommendations for restaurants and sites. They explained that the owners of the palazzo want you to feel like you are a guest of theirs--and you truly do."
Hotel Flora ★★★
"We stayed at the Hotel Flora for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very personalized service, especially by Tiziana and Marie in the rooftop breakfast room who made an effort to get to know us. The included breakfast was superb, with fresh food, espresso bar service and a wonderful view from a fully windowed room. A small bar and outdoor patio on the main floor is a nice touch. Room was very well kept with newer furnishings and cleaned daily, and we enjoyed sitting in our mainfloor balcony area. The hotel is 5 minutes from "downtown" Noto, and next to a bus/taxi terminal and garden plaza. The front desk was accommodating in arranging transportation for us when needed. We highly recommend this hotel."
Terre di Romanello Country Relais ★★★★
"My wife and I stayed here for 3 days in September as part of an organized tour of Sicily. The photos online make this hotel look very appealing, and the setting is very picturesque. Be aware though, that the management of this hotel is very focused on turning a profit and less interested in ensuring that their guests have a pleasant experience and want to return. In our case, a dispute over a very poor meal resulted in a slight reduction in the cost of the meal. However, the profit motivated management of the hotel decided that they would recoup the loss on the meal by charging us for moving our luggage to the bus. The greed of the management spoiled what otherwise would have been a pleasant stay. We do not recommend this hotel!"
