"Very clean, comfortable place. Reception manager was very helpful. I forgot to request an early check-in, but the manager kindly offered an early check-in to us. Actually I am very surprised (in a good sense) to find that kind of service in Nukus. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast buffet was OK. Again, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel is very conveniently located on the opposite side of the airport. Every place we visited was very close (in the radius of 4-5km). Taxi in Nukus is very cheap, but the navigation doesn't work correctly. We were on 1 day business trip and stayed only 1 night in Deluxe room (however, it looks smaller than on the picture), but I can highly recommend the place. The world famous Savitskiy museum is only 4 min drive from the hotel. It is definitely a MUST. Already decided to bring my family here only to visit this museum. I will stay in Pana Hotel again "

"This hotel is way too expensive for the quality and service you get. It's about 50% more expensive than every hotel or guest house we stayed in throughout Uzbekistan and by far the worst place we stayed. The breakfast was not very good, and the shower was a joke--a bathtub without a shower curtain you stand in and can't help but get water all over the floor. The bed was hard and the room wasn't nicely decorated nor comfortable in any way. Plus, they charged us 100,000 UZS (about $8 US) for an early check in. They wanted 150,000, but I complained and they reduced it. We've checked in early in two other hotels in Uzbekistan and no one ever mentioned an extra charge. I think the owners are money-hungry and working off their old reputation. We stayed here the night before our Aral Sea trip and then in a private apartment in Nukus after our trip which was infinitely more comfortable, nicer and cheaper. Stay away from this place."
