"The location is perfect in a very pleasant environment, the hotel is a shame it is not updated, the bar is never open, the rooms are large but smell of humidity and you can hear everything from the adjacent rooms, but the worst thing is the breakfast only has the basics, coffee, milk, jams and some pastries and they do not have anything gluten-free although you warn me I had to bring my own bread and there are whole oranges in the small buffet but they charge me € 7 for squeezing oranges for a juice, a detail that they could take into account since I bring my own bread. Without great luxuries they could have a decoration more in keeping with the year we are living in, a shame the lack of care and taste."

"We chose the alternate trail to Pontedeume which lead us to the Playa (beach) de la Magdalena; the sand and surf revitalized our aching feet and weary spirits. After our beach-time, we continued to Pontedeume where we found our hotel (Hotel Camino do Eume) by way of being guided by The Patio wait-staff. The hotel-voucher for our pilgrim meal at The Beers Club provided a good contrast and bar to which all other eateries we visited during our Camino surpassed; our meal was very simple. Our breakfast at The Patio was a filling pilgrims’ meal of fruit, coffee/tea, juice, toast with jams, yogurt, and two types of cakes. Our room was clean, modern, comfortable, and afforded us a beautiful view of Ria Eume over the rooftops of Pontedeume!"

"The hotel is quite nice, but we booked dinner. We stayed five nights, but had dinner four days. When we booked the hotel, we also booked dinner. We paid €24 and never knew what we were going to get. We were a group of 19 people, and the menu was fixed for everyone: a starter, which was soup, a main course: one day chicken, another day fish, another day meatballs, but everyone got the same. Frozen and reheated before serving. Terrible wine. A disaster, for €24. Not to be missed."
