There were very few restaurants nearby, making it quite inconvenient if you didn't drive. The free late-night ramen was a real plus!"

"You have to change shoes to enter the hotel; wear slippers and carry your luggage upstairs! The slippers are used by anyone who comes in; there's absolutely no disinfection. The toilet doesn't have a bidet function, and the sink hose is too long—it's impossible for anyone to spill water outside. There's no table by the bed, no power outlet, absolutely nothing. The soundproofing is appalling! You can clearly hear what the upstairs neighbors are doing, and you'll be woken up many times at night by the sound of trains."
