"Great location with easy access to Dartmoor. Staff warm and welcoming and attentive to any requests made, bar staff, front of house all welcomed me and my partner and asked if we needed anything. Food was full of flavour and priced accordingly. We stayed 1 night in the hayloft room which had amazing views and relaxing sound coming from the stream. Will visit again and make the most of the walks and trails Dartmoor has to offer.Tommy the chef was so attentive with genuine care for his clients and his energy and passion was delivered in his amazing food and warm welcome.We will be back soon ."

"Just returned home from having a lovely afternoon tea at Lewtrenchard manor. So glad the hotel has reopened, and the work completed by the new owners if excellent. We have enjoyed a couple of dinners and Sunday lunches here recently and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them."

"Nicky was a fabulous host, she was Helpful but not over the top. Lovely restored property and spacious bedroom. Great scones and best breakfast freshly prepared. If you want the country feel you should go, little walks around the village and old church was open"

"I really enjoyed my stay at The Oxenham Arms . The team made me feel very welcome and provided a great service. The food was excellent with a good choice of beer and wine. Although my room was quite small , it was very cosy for someone travelling on their own. The bed was very , very comfy :) As the Hotel is quite old it was full of character with the added bonus of a large beer garden. If you are planning to stay near Dartmoor I would highly recommend the Oxenham Arms."
