"I stayed at Villars Palace from January 12 to January 14 and I must say that this hotel is exceptional. The renovation of this historic building is a real success. I had a panorama suite with a balcony, a pretty room and a truly exceptional view. The choice of providing an "oasis" room for coffee/tea/drinks per floor I don't find it very practical because every time you want a coffee you have to leave the room. The ski room is located just 50 meters from the station, it’s very convenient. I was warmly welcomed and the staff were very smiling and attentive. The restaurant Le 19 13 was simply perfect. However, I encountered some problems during breakfast on the last day. There was a lot of waiting and I even had to cancel some orders because they could no longer keep up. I had to ask for my coffee and eggs several times. Other than that, the hotel was just perfect, a magical place. I recommand it."

"The hotel is elegant with lovely rooms but my visit was ruined by 2 things. 1) my IPad was unable to connect to the guest internet and no one was able to help. I was told it was ‘illegal’ for the hotels IT person to help me. Someone also mentioned there have Benn problems with Mac laptops and IPads because of some security issues. I spent hours trying to sort it out as I needed the IPad for writing…my iPhone worked but wasn’t up to editing docs. I would not recommend using this hotel if you rely on your IPad until they figure out what the problem is. Note it worked fine at the man in conference hotel (Villars Palace) and every other hotel on my trip. 2) even worse was that at the first breakfast buffet several of us got sick ( we suspect sausages) with a debilitating tummy upset that meant frequent trips to bathrooms during conference and ruined a subsequent hiking holiday. I had to go to pharmacy doc and it still isn’t ok. Sorry to be so negative as I usually give very positive reviews."

"When I arrived at the hotel, I saw the construction scaffolding outside the building. I was nervous and began to worry about the noise during my stay. Fortunately, the construction did not cause any impact on us. They just repaired the roof. The hotel and Ctrip gave us a room on a very quiet floor. The hotel's services and facilities are very good. Everything is just right. It is a hotel that makes people feel relaxed."
