"I am a little disappointed. First of all, the receptionist tried to charge me twice for the room (even though I had already paid via ***********). This should never happen. There were also problems with the internet connection. Internet access is only available via SMS, but the SMS never arrived. The room was fine."

We've been meeting with friends (from all over German-speaking Switzerland) in the center of Olten/Aarau for several years now and have "tried out" various bars/restaurants! The Astoria was and is one of the best! The value for money is right, and the service is excellent! Especially Claudio!! He's a top-notch server and the main reason (besides the good food) why I'm even writing a review! He's very attentive (even when it's busy) and seems extremely motivated and customer-oriented... great service, not something you take for granted these days! We'll be back because of Claudio and the good food! (Great selection of salads, pasta, tartar, wine, etc.)"
