This hotel has relatively few Chinese people staying, but more Europeans and Americans. It has an excellent location, close to the beach, and is very convenient for paragliding and island hopping! We stayed for two nights, the first night in the building where the front desk is located. The second night was temporarily added by us. Lovely hotel however in my personal opinion it is not 5*. Putting some toiletries and some slippers in a room does not make it 5*. Room spotlessly clean but a bit on the small side, bathroom very dated with poor lighting. Balcony tiny once you have the clothes dryer in use (ours was broke) there was not enough room for us to both sit. Lovely pool area but something needs to be done about the sunbed wars. In 7 days we only managed a bed in the shade with beds been kept for most of the day with nobody turning up to use them. Beach has a free sunbed section for hotel guests so this was our alternative most days. Food lovely, drinks again my opinion were poor wine possibly cooking wine, mixers flat cocktails poor with limited choice. All this said the location of this hotel is 5* I will read the reviews before I return to see if the hotel has been renovated before I return.
