Hotel Tugasa Sierra y Cal ★★

"We had serious sleep problems the first few days. There were a lot of families with children playing in the hallways with balls, shouting, making noise at all hours… the first two nights we couldn't sleep properly, to the point that we wanted to leave even though we had paid for four nights. When they told us that those people were leaving that same day, we stayed and everything changed. We understand that it's the parents' responsibility to supervise their children in a shared space, but I also understand that the hotel has rules that it must enforce for all guests. On the other hand, the room's facilities were very outdated. The bathroom was interior and small (I haven't seen this type of bathroom in any of the hotel's photos; they all have windows and are large), and the bathtub was old and worn. We found one of the headboards loose from the wall, half-fallen. Parking in that area and during our stay was very difficult. It's very poorly soundproofed, and you can hear everything. The breakfast was quite good, although we always had to complain about something. Things ran out and restocked were difficult. They seem to prioritize the breakfast in the cafeteria, which is open to everyone, over the buffet for guests. The best thing about it is the staff, who are very friendly. It needs a major facelift."
