The kettle looked like it had never been used and was wearing something loose. The basket in the room was a trial version, which was a bit unpleasant. Maybe it can't be helped since it's a cheap hotel, but I think even business hotels are cleaner these days. I was angry at myself for not checking enough."

"This is a traditional Japanese room, very clean. The location is about a 5-minute walk in front of Omuta Station. If you take the Shinkansen to Shin-Omuta, it's about 6 kilometers to the hotel. I live in the annex opposite, which has a private bathroom, but the toilet is shared. The store owner was very nice and gave us an extra mobile room. Breakfast was ok. For nearby activities, you may need to rent a car or bicycle to get to Miike Port and other places. This is an intellectual journey and a good experience."
