Excellent if you are on a budget better than Rosin Inn which is brits tend to go the room worked out at £45 per night for a family of four plus you get free buffet breakfast food nice hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks fruit and yogurts scrambled eggs bacon everything is their no parking fee we didn’t pay a resort fee either staff lovlely twice my son put an egg in the microwave and it exploded they never complained room spotless free shuttles to both Disney and universal

My Husband and I stayed another night and also booked one more night . This place is so amazing and very clean. The maintenance guys are very fast. Are a/c went out and told them that morning and they got it fixed. The security guards here are so nice and on top of there game.. very safe here cause of them. The housekeepers are also good at there job. Very friendly and very fast in bring what you need for your next stay over even if it's something you need when you check in. I Love this place and we will be back and we will be bring are kids on are next trip back to Florida. I give them a 10. We will be back. I recommend this place.. We arrived at the hotel around 9:30pm after a long day of traveling. We specifically picked this hotel because it advertised an on-site restaurant. Sadly, “restaurant” was an overstatement. There was no one at the bar, but a printed menu listing 5 options, all bar food (burgers, chicken tenders, hot wings or pizza). We ordered burgers and were told that they were not selling burgers tonight. So, We ordered chicken strips and tried to order a cocktail. The bar tender had no knowledge of common cocktails and when I asked what he COULD make, he pointed to the bar to show me what liqueurs he had in stock. We asked what sodas he had, and he just pointed to the snack bar across the lobby with bottled beverages. He brought our food out, and the chicken was over cooked and the fries soggy and undercooked. We decided we were too frustrated to sit down in the “restaurant” to eat our meal, so I gave him my card to pay for our meal. He took it over to the front desk to run the card and then spent several minutes fumbling about b/c the receipt did not print. I told him not to bother, that I did not need a receipt.

I spent two nights at the DoubleTree in Downtown Orlando as a result of being mandatorily evacuated due to Hurricane Ian. Most of the other people staying in the hotel were in a similar situation. I felt that the hotel did a good job of dealing with the huge surge of stressed out people. The DoubleTree wasn't our first choice, but when we decided to evacuate to Orlando, many other gulf coast Floridians were making similar choices, and we got turfed to this DoubleTree with a different Hilton property. The location is pretty good. It's close to downtown, close to the Lake Ivanhoe area, and close to I4. There were a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. The parking isn't exactly connected to the hotel, which wouldn't be a problem in non-hurricane situations. There was no valet when we arrived. There were staff available to help with bags, etc., although the person was helping the car in front of me, so I unloaded everything myself (which was fine). My parents were able to check in early for both rooms, and from what I observed in the lobby, they had enough staff that no one was waiting for too long for check in. They were definitely well stocked with bottled water and cookies for everyone checking in. We had two connecting rooms so that my parents could help with the kids and we could pool resources. The rooms have refrigerators which are pretty spacious. The rooms were a bit dated, but the beds were reasonably comfortable (although the pillows could have been more supportive), there was a practical set up of seating, and everything looked clean. Because the hotel was booked to full and because the Hurricane was going to go through Orlando as a tropical storm, there was no standard housekeeping available, but you could request new sheets/towels/amenities to be delivered to your room. I spoke with a bartender, and the Hilton had several employees who stayed in the hotel for the duration of the storm warning and storm to make sure that things were running for guests. I very much appreciated that they kept the kitchen (albeit with a very limited menu) and bar (full bar still available) running and that maintenance was available the whole time. While I didn't love the limited menu at the restaurant, at least we had the option of hot food! The hotel is on the same power grid at the local hospital, so we never lost power. The cable flickered a bit once the winds became strong. The window in my parents' room did spring a leak during the storm, but thankfully the amount of water that came in was manageable with a couple towels. The downstairs cafe and lobby became very waterlogged during the storm. But from a safety perspective, we all came through the storm. And when we elected to check out after two nights instead of the three we booked, the hotel graciously didn't charge us for the final night.

The location is really good. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to Disney land and springs. Service was good too. The room is little small but good to stay

My wife and I are regular travellers to Florida. We decided this time to get a hotel close to the airport to avoid an early morning commute as we normally do from Davenport. We looked up places online and reviews. We settled on Wingate and they did not disappoint. We checked in early (to drop off our bags). Staff were helpful. Hotel seemed a little older but clean (all that matters to us). Room was large, ton of amenities, couch, great view. The price was amazing. We are not high maintenance and do not need the extras. Just clean and friendly. This place was perfect. Will definitely return and recommend.

We are a family of 11, and getting the 2 BR suites was perfect. We got 2 suites to comfortably fit our group. The rooms were great, despite the fact that it's an older hotel. The kitchen was really helpful esp when we just wanted to have some meals in-house. We just bought some stuff from Publix and cooked a meal on one of our last nights while packing. The kitchen was fully equipped, and they also provided dish soap and a sponge which was great. New towels were provided each day but I had to ask. They only clean the rooms twice a week. The beds were comfy, showers had good water pressure too. The Hot breakfast was great, including eggs, breakfast meats, cereals, bread, coffee, juice, fruits, and very nice cook-yourself waffles. The breakfast area never got really packed, we always got a table. We were there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It was also nice to be able to bring breakfast up to the room, especially for the kids. Coffee was available all day in the lobby. I love the lounge area by the lobby. It was a nice place to wait for the rest of our group, with comfy seats and a refreshing area. As I said, the hotel is a bit outdated so they will need to fix the paint, renew the carpets, brighten the lights, etc soon to stay competitive, but other than that, it was clean and the service was good. The staff at the front desk was great, the Shuttle service was on par, and we had a very early flight and took the 4:30 am shuttle. We booked ahead and they could accommodate us and our big luggage. The general manager Marisela Keller who handled our email inquiries very early on before our stay was excellent. We sent some inquiries and special requests twice, and both times she responded very promptly and clearly. It was a big factor in why we chose this hotel as well over another one that we prebooked.

Check in was fast! The view for my room was perfect, facing the small lake. The bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower room was great! The room is nicely renovated and no old school style kind of bathtub! Modern standing shower!! Everything is perfect!!

The Fairfield at Marriott Village is a great holiday. The location is so wonderful that regretfully, we did not have an opportunity to use the hotel amenities such as the pool etc. We did have breakfast daily, which had a good selection of hot items, breads and cereals. The Mickey Mouse pancakes were delicious. Our rooms were large and spacious, with great air conditioning, lovely hot showers and sufficient tv channels. The beds and rooms were very clean. It is very handy that there are washers and dryers and ice machines on every floor or every other floor. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the parks but we preferred to drive to be able to leave and return to the park, for necessary breaks in the height of the heat. Would happily stay there again. There are 2 other hotels on the property (Courtyard and Springhill). I imagine these are more upscale. I would have appreciated an offer to ”upgrade” at a nominal fee to experience.

Everything was fine, only the air conditioning in the restaurant was very strong.
