"We stayed at this hotel six years ago. Since then, the thermal baths and spa have been transformed for the better. Everything is excellent. However, the apples in the public areas have disappeared. Breakfast is now in the main restaurant, and it's wonderful. There was a lot of snow, so we dined at the hotel restaurant. It was a bit pricey, but delicious. We'll definitely come back. The only way to get to the hotel is along the shore of Lake Como. In winter, you'll need chains to cross the pass, and even then, it's not guaranteed you'll make it."

"The Belvenu building is one of the most historically significant buildings in the gorgeous little town of Glorenza. Yet the rooms are very modernly furnished with all the amenities imaginable. Check-in is super easy even at times when there is nobody at the reception and the communication has been spotless. Breakfast wqs served in the Gasthof Grüner Baum, the building next door. The price was also very reasonable and fortunately the hotel is open in early-mid December, a very low season in the area."

"A very nice small hotel in a quiet location just a short distance, on foot, to the centre of Bormio. The rooms are all very well equipped, with a small balcony. We overlooked the gardens but the views towards the mountains were lovely especially when the sun went down. All staff were very helpful and had a good understanding of English. Breakfast with also very good as too were the evening meals. I would definately stay here again."

"The hotel is a very, very basic hospitality hotel, this is not going to be a pleasant stay if you are with the family. There is nothing to do with children of any age, the swimming pool is cold and you need to pay for a bathrobe which isn't in the information about the hotel when you book. There is no complimentary coffee and tea set in the room! Not even a single bottle of water. Also, water isn't available for free in the entire hotel!! Shocking, sad and very unexpected when they ask you to pay for the battle of water with your dinner (€3 per bottle!) when there is no access to even tap water in the restaurant. Unbelievable!! Apparently, the hotel has been renovated but in the 21st century, there is not even one USB socket to charge your phone or computer!!! Be aware of this!!! Food is very limited to basic and often leftovers from the previous day, not always fresh bakery and you will not have coffee or tea with your dinner - unless you pay extra!! I would not recommend it and never come back here again. None of these things isn't clearly stated in the hotel information, so when you finally come here you are going to be very unpleasantly shocked"
