My family has a good experience with the service and location. It's unfortunate that they're planning to remove the in-room washing machine, which could be a drawback for future stays. Hopefully, they consider replacing it with an alternative amenity.

A little out of the way from the large and confusing main stations, but everything was satisfactory and the bath was of a good size
Breakfast was good and the drinks offered was nice with freedom to takeout some coffee and bread back to the room
UCC capsules and coffee machine in the room was a nice additional touch

The room was large and very comfortable. Super clean.
The toilet and the shower are separated. They provide coffee, tea and water bottles in the room.
The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast is very fresh and of quality, personally I would have preferred more sweet choice as well as bread.
I loved the public bath because there are also single tubs that give you more privacy than the traditional one (which is also there), at least you are not facing a stranger while naked.. There are also hot beverages and face lotions/masks (a girl's dream). Men and women baths are separate but you can go together in the hot stone room because they provide specific clothes to wear (shirt and pants).

I used it for about a week from the end of March. Because it was under such a situation, I was very sorry, and I asked for a little bit of self-help about the cleaning of the room, but the front desk was not particularly able to explain anything I accepted it (there is a hygiene relationship, so I wanted to clean it once a day even if I stayed for three nights). I thought that I was really clever about other things. Especially the small staff at the front desk was very good impression! If you have another chance, I will use it!

Context & Disclaimer: I'm a very objective travel reviewer as someone who has a fair share of business and leisure stays. I leave reviews to help hotels improve their standards and also to help my fellow travellers make the best travel decisions for themselves. I've stayed at luxury to mid-range properties around the world including recent stays at the Prince Gallery Tokyo, Ritz-Carlton Tokyo, Ritz-Carlton Toronto, JW Marriott Hong Kong. This review also follows a recent stay at the Prince Gallery Tokyo where the standards were exceptionally high. I haven't reviewed them yet but will do so shortly. Japan is known for its warm hospitality and careful attention to detail. At high-end hotels, they go over the top particularly to make your experience a unique one, so when you're paying $700+/night for the Ritz you expect high standards. Especially when every luxury hotelier in Tokyo has said the RC Osaka was just recently awarded its 5* My guest journey starts off rocky and torpedoes downhill. Check-In 1 - it's been raining in Osaka all day and we walked into the hotel from the outside. No one to greet us or take our luggage. Not a single person to be found. 2 - I'm soaking wet and struggling to find the check-in lobby. I must've seen 3 staff members look at me and not offer help or ask if I need any assistance. 3 - I finally find the check-in lobby where it's a giant zoo and RC staff directing traffic like its 5pm at Shibuya crossing. An absolute loud mess. I'm still soaking wet with my glasses and both pieces of luggage, and a staff member asks me if I'm checking in or checking out. What??? 0 attention to detail right there. Anyway, she directs me to wait in line. 4 - At the RC Tokyo & Prince Gallery Tokyo and any luxury hotel that operates like one (e.g., Four Seasons), takes your luggage and ask for your name. By the time you make it to check-in, they greet you by name and help you get settled in. If you book a room on the club floor, they ask if you'd like to check-in there privately. Yes I booked a Club Room, and so I waited about 10 minutes dripping wet before asking someone if I could please check-in via the Club Lounge. 5 - We're making our way to the Club Lounge, with the attendant dragging our luggage along the way which makes lots of noise. 6 - Finally check-in with no problems. The Room 7 - I understand that this is a Victorian-style property and some of the room and structure might be dated. But I can't believe that the bathtub is something from a Residence Inn or Courtyard Marriott. The shower is equally not up to par with the RC brand. 8 - Toiletries. I'm not sure if this is RC making a push for sustainability, but soap, shampoo, and conditioner are given to guests in large bottle format, again like at a Residence Inn or Courtyard Marriott, instead of small individual bottles. Not a big deal, but just not up to par with other luxury hotels or RC standards across Japan. What if someone spit in there? Back to the lounge

Conclusion I will never stay at ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka again. The room was the smallest I have ever been at and part of the window was blocked by a wall outside the room. The check in and check out was chaos with a huge queue. The hotel is outdated too. The only positive thing regarding this hotel is the club lounge. Review I arrived with the Shinkassen at Osaka station and the hotel is in walking distance from station. The train station is huge, and I was difficult to find the right exit. The hotel is located in a business area, but there are a lot of restaurants, bars and shops in the neighborhood. Not the right area, if you are a turist. I arrived at 2 pm, where I could not get me room even I am an IHG diamond member. Came back after a couple of hours, where there was a huge queue. Check-in took between 45-60 min. It was the same situation, when I should check out. It is not possible to check out in the IHG app. Even I have the highest status in the IHG program, I got the smallest room in the hotel. It was not possible to open my suitcase in the room - i don’t want it on the bed. The window was partly blocked by wall outside the window. The room is very outdated. I had access to the club lounge, where I had a couple of drinks during the evening and breakfast in the morning. The lounges was ok but it was busy.

Location is good although it is not situated in the most popular spot, however for people who want to avoid the busy crowd, this location is very suitable. It is very easy and convenient to take metro to Shinsaibashi, Umeda and Osaka Station (like 1-2 station distance). There are many local cafe nearby, if you are not going to choose hotel breakfast, there are many choices outside.
Staff service is good also, and I'm quite impressed of their english level which are easy for us to communicate.

location is right in front of the subway station and very convenient to go anywhere since there are 2 subway stations near by the hotel. However, if you wanna go to city centre like namba/umeda, u can walk but may still need to take subway.
(I choose this hotel after considering with a hotel in Namba since I thought I could find more local restaurants, but actually many places closed early...)
Overall service are great, but would be better for trainee to do the check-in process with a senior staff since it took a longer process than normal and made a few mistakes although she was super kind. Staffs are all nice and very helpful!
Facilities are so clean and the public bath is also good to try!

This superb hotel, very conveniently situated near Honmachi station on the Midosuji line, is the best hotel within the Holiday Inn Express Chain that I have ever stayed at. Our room, furnished with a contemporary flair, house exceptionally comfortable beds for a tranquil night's sleep. In a thoughtful nod to guest comfort, the hotel offers both soft and firm pillows to suit individual preferences. The intuitive air conditioning system allows for seamless temperature adjustments, and the seemingly small refrigerator packs a punch with its remarkable cooling capabilities. A suitably sized table is perfectly situated for using my laptop. The bathroom goes above and beyond, featuring a powerful massage shower system that soothes our every tired muscle after a full day of touring. The hotel staff are a paradigm of warmth and hospitality, always available with a smile and ready to assist. When I requested for a plug adapter, they went the extra mile and provided two, fulfilling my true requirements perfectly. The breakfast buffet is a culinary delight with its high-quality selections. Even though the variety may not be vast, the available options more than satisfy the palate for a hearty breakfast. The handmade Tofu stands out with its impressive softness, surpassing those I've had in Hong Kong. In a testament to their thoughtful service, the hotel provides bags for guests to pack their breakfast, catering to those on a tight schedule. After a six-night stay at this hotel, I found it hard to bid farewell to this remarkable gem, standing out among the multitude of hotels. It offers an experience that redefines hospitality. From Jerome, the General Manager, to every member of staff including the room cleaning team, there's a palpable demonstration of team spirit in their commitment to delivering supreme quality service. While I’ve previously enjoyed my stays at the St. Regis and Intercontinental in Osaka, this experience has shifted my preference. Should I find myself returning to Osaka, this hotel will undoubtedly be my singular choice.

Outstanding
MMelciaVery convenient as it is near the Osaka station and umeda station. There are plenty of malls nearby too. Ichiran ramen is just 5 mins away too!
There are amenities at the 1st floor which provided facial cream, toner and cleansing oil as well.
They only provide 2 bottles of water a day.
GGusThis location is truly unbeatable. The hotel not only offers exceptional access to the park but also to a variety of restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity. Staying at this hotel provides a perfect blend of convenience and accessibility, allowing guests to easily explore the surrounding area and enjoy all it has to offer. The proximity to the park and other amenities enhances the overall experience and makes it a top choice for travelers looking for a well-situated accommodation option. The strategic location of the hotel adds immense value to the stay, ensuring that guests have everything they need right at their fingertips..
PPak HangThe hotel is located close to the Exit 5 of the Green and Brown Lines of Osaka Metro. However, prepare a strong heart because when you arrive to the exit you will have to climb 4 floors of stairs to reach the hotel every time. The other exit with lift is further away. The hotel itself I will only classify as a modernised INN rather than a stared hotel, not as per its name stated. The cleaning services are not up to the standards you would expect for normal hotels in Japan.
The breakfast itself is another downside if you live here more than four nights, because you would only have four choices everyday every time you go down. The chef made good food but, having stayed here for 9 nights you will get sick and tired of the breakfast pretty soon. Rather, I would recommend just go to local Japanese supermarkets to shop for breakfast and bento for the next day.
GGuest UserPerfect Location, close to Umeda Eki/Osaka Station. A great place if you enjoy shopping.
But!! The room we lived in has poor drainage in the toilet. The water was leaking on the ground, which made the floor very slippery. We contacted the front desk in the morning however the problem was not resolved when we came back in the evening. Finally, a staff liaised for us and we finally changed to a new room. No compensation and I did not hear any apologies. Well, thank you for the help but it cost us some time and made me a bit uncomfortable. The new room was all good.
Staffs are nice and friendly, polite. Thank you for the service. Considering the price, it's not that cost-effective from my point of view.
AAnonymous UserThe environment of the hotel is spacious and clean. The lighting effect is refreshing.
The location of the hotel is close to the subway station. Convenient to nearby Shinsaibashi for shopping and dining. It is very convenient to travel to various attractions every day.
HHalsansanI stayed at this hotel because Aikata participated in the Osaka marathon. There is a deep shop around the hotel that can eat cheap and delicious things. If you use the hotel, you can enter and exit the hotel after checking in. The hotel has a different entrance and exit from the facility user, but you have to take off your shoes. Take your shoes to geta box and store them and walk barefoot in the hotel. Is the room simple and business hotel? However, the bed comfort was the best. There was also UB, but there was a large hot spring facility, so I didn't use the bus in the room. I was booked for one night, but this city was too fun to stay for another night. I negotiated and luckily I had a vacancy, so I ended up staying overnight.
AAnonymous UserLocation is great, service was good and breakfast was the best.
It was near the famous Glico man. It is also within walking distance to Parco and other great stores. ABC Mart, Uniqlo, Atmos are near. As to food trips, there are a lot of ramen places around. Namba Station is about 1 kilometer away, which can be easily be walked even with luggages, where you can board the Nankai Line to Kansai Airport. Yes, the airport is just a train ride away, no need to hire expensive private transfers.
AAA KikiLocation is great, right in the middle of dotonburi. But the street it’s on is near clubs and bars so it gets a bit loud at night. Service is great and all but we requested a late checkout and they asked for $100 just for an hour… Booked a room for three and it’s just an extra bed added to a twin room so it was crazy cramped I couldn’t even open my luggage.
AAi PengExceptional service - the front desk helped me to arrange taxi to the airport and it was not easy because they were fully booked. The person tried many times and finally found a taxi for us, much to our relief. The front desk is trained to ask all the right questions, staying calm. They also helped to receive my transferred luggage from another hotel. All timely and accurately.
It deserved a 6 star for such exceptional service.
The hotel ambience has a calming effect as it is dark but lighted on the areas that you need to see. We have no problem even though some people commented on it. Great location
Room size is comfortable and considered a fair size, in fact, slightly larger and well planned.
Breakfast has a good spread. Think it is great to open at 6.30 am as it gives maximum time to have an early start.
Highly recommended for couple and families.
HHktphongThe hotel as a whole needs to be clean as well, because you live on a higher floor and have a good view. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is also convenient to go to Kuromon Market and Dotonbori. There is also a railway station nearby.
