Welcome to the bearcamp river in beautiful Ossipee, NH. This home sits on the bearcamp river with over 5 acres to explore. You'll have access to the entire property with over 300 feet of water frontage. On the property you'll find over a mile of walking trails that lead to the river and a private beach with a fire pit area. There is plenty of space by the river to grill, lounge or just enjoy the property. Spend your days floating down the river to Ossipee lake or fishing for rainbow trout. You also have access to snowmobile trails in the winter (directly across the street) and hiking trails throughout the area. This property is a four season rental. We are also close to skiing ,King pine is 15 minutes away.Fall foliage here is spectacular and Conway is just down the road with great shopping and restaurants. Across the road, there is also a gas station so you can fuel up or grab snacks. Inside you'll find a full kitchen stocked with essentials, private bedroom, living room and a futon for 2 extra guests. In the back you'll find a small fire pit for those chilly nights. The property spans over 5 acres for you to explore and the river is located at the back of the property down marked trails(about a 5 minute walk) where you'll find a large fire pit with seating. The home is located on a main road(route 16) and we have included a photo of the map of the road and the property, but we spend most of our time at the back of the property where you can enjoy the river. Close by, the Eldridge Family Sugar House not only has the best maple syrup, their soft serve maple ice cream is hometown famous and they also serve brunch. Down the road, Hobbs Tavern has great comfort food/handcrafted beer and check their website for their "Hayloft" on their 2nd level for apps/entertainment schedule. White Lake Pizza is the closest place for Pizza/subs/salads and Songbird for Chinese. Rosie's has amazing homemade cinnamon rolls. The house and its extremely large deck are very close to the lake, so it is easy to hear the serene lapping of waves against the shore and see sunsets beyond belief. This remarkable lakefront location has a natural sandy bottom that gently slopes from the shore for hundreds of feet. The house has a brand new dock, so bring your own boat to dock it in between trips around the lake. You’ll also love the breathtaking views of the White Mountains including Mt. Chocorua and Mt. The kitchen has a large island, and the kitchen and the laundry room have brand new appliances (including an induction cooktop, two ovens, a dishwasher, built-in microwave, a garbage disposal, and a 2nd fridge in the laundry room). Further, there is a huge open area with a dining table for 12 and additional seating for 6 with a beautiful large two story fireplace, all with floor to ceiling (2 floors) windows to appreciate the view of the lake and mountains. The kids have their own TV room too, and of course they have the same beautiful views!Outside, there is seating on a large open deck with a table and chairs for 12 for outdoor dining. There is also a screened in porch with a table, chairs, and a brand new grill. All furniture was replaced in 2021 (other than the fabulous large dining table and chairs), and all linens - including beach towels - are provided.In the winter, proximity to lots of skiing and tubing - King Pine, Cranmore, Attitash, Wildcat, Waterville Valley, Loon Mountain, and Bretton Woods.
