"It is right next to the Mei Chi Plateau ski resort, you can ski in and out, the room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the first floor is dedicated to storing ski equipment. You can order simple meals in the restaurant, and there is a small soup for you to soak in."

"The hotel is very close to the ski resort. You can see the ski resort from the room. It is also close to the bus station. There are different restaurants near the bus station. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, which is very convenient. Worth recommending to friends."

Hotel Hakuba Berghaus ★★

"Great place to stay right on a ski run with ski in facilities.. It’s also quite close to bars and restaurants. The only issue is the hotel advertises that all rooms have bathrooms - but that is not the case. A number of rooms don’t have a bath or a shower! We didn’t have one which came a real surprise and had to book a private bathroom three floors down for each morning. If you stay at this hotel make sure you book a room with a shower! In this day and age not having a shower in all rooms is really not three or even two star accommodation."

"A very cost-effective family-run hotel. The hotel picks up and drops off at the ski resort, and there is a ski slope that allows you to ski directly back to the hotel. There are rich delicacies in the morning and evening, and a small but beautiful hot spring. The snow is really heavy 😃! In addition, my daughter's phone fell on the snow, and the hotel owner and staff helped to find it together, which is very humane! We will definitely stay again!"

"Our second stay at Espoir Misawa (see earlier review). Hospitality has not changed and remains as fabulous and friendly as it ever was. Clean rooms, just the same as last time in fact the whole place is just like our last stay. Such a handy place to ski in-out and not overly priced. Beds were still incredibly hard and this caused discomfort in the morning and we brought our own proper towels. Whilst the decor throughout is dated and old, the owners keep it well maintained and clean. If only they had softer beds this place would score 5 points easily."
