"Lots of rubbish in the grounds of the lodges which was unsightly. Also there were several area where bins for the hotel were not hidden and could be seen from our window. The whole park could do with a revamp and tidy up"

"The pub did not indicate that the bedrooms were in the process of been refurbished, my room, No 1, was riddled with damp, so visible in various parts of the room and the bathroom, including plaster coming off the wall. I did complain but to be told they had no spare rooms, not a pleasant room nor experience as they did not seem to like that I had complained. Food mediocre, not worth the money"

"Good food. Great accomadation, loverly staff. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and may return. I can see advantages for those persons who like to walk or hike with the position of this resteraunt and accommodation being near to the moors and public footpaths. It was a bit too isolated for my needs."
