"The hotel is situated in the market center so it was very convenient to walk around. We had the most incredible view from every single window in our room!!! Absolutely delightful to see the peonies in full bloom, the lush green landscape with beautiful horses peacefully grazing, the thunderously blue waters of the Lidder river and the snow capped mountains surrounding us. The staff were very kind and helpful! The almond butter trout was superbly delicious. We had a great time at the hotel. However we did have to air out the rooms to remove a musty smell and the bathroom was a bit dusty."

"Stayed at Mount View, Pahalgam during our Kashmir trip booked through Kashmir Express and unfortunately the experience at this property was disappointing. The rooms had a noticeable damp/stale smell, likely due to moisture and rains, making the stay uncomfortable. Basic hospitality essentials were also missing — no napkins/tissues provided, inconsistent hot water supply, and overall room upkeep did not meet expectations for the tariff charged. What was more disappointing was that despite raising concerns, there was no proper upgrade or immediate resolution available at the hotel. Kashmir is beautiful, but comfortable stays and basic hygiene standards matter a lot when travelling with family. Hope both the hotel management and booking partner improve guest experience going forward."

"Went to peak and pine as recommended by a family member and were blown away! We experienced the breakfast buffet as a family of four and were delighted by both the staff, service, and especially the food. The staff were extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating for our needs. The food range and quality were superb, with ordered dishes coming quickly and buffet dishes being served fresh. "Check in : We were a family of 15 visited Pahagam hotel, half of them for the first time. Check in was smooth. Alloted rooms in new wing. Room Quality : We opted for 3 suites & 3 deluxe rooms. Deluxe rooms were great in size. Suite rooms were basics since it's a HERITAGE PROPERTY. Cleanliness was top notch. Facilities : Snooker table, table tennis, stone age lounge, indoor swimming pool and 360 degree lawn...........JUST AWESOME. Although we didn't had food over their as there were plenty of restaurants nearby. But as per past experience their food quality is classic. Last day we were offered high tea , bread pakora and butter toast free of cost as their kind gesture. Overall our stay was quite comfortable. 6 dedicated staff members were their all the time serving us. Mr Shabbir the caretaker provided warmth and took full care of our daily needs. Surely will return and recommend to fellow members"

"This was a comfortable and luxurious stay with family in Pahalgam. Pros- 1. Location at walking distance to Market 2. Very nice views and a nice park within hotel 3. Very luxurious suit rooms with central heating which will not let you feel cold anytime 4. There are lots of places for children to play. 5. Common seating space between suit rooms where you can sit and enjoy travelling with other friends as well. Cons- 1.Food options need to enrich more with some local cuisines as well. 2. Dining space is actually small and gets crowded at peak times Special mention - Staff is extremely good and courteous specially Liyakat ji has been a great host."
