Entertainment Issues: The Tata Sky subscription was expired, leaving no entertainment options. Cleanliness: The bed sheets were not as clean as they should have been. Food Pricing: The food is exorbitantly priced. Breakfast Quality: The breakfast included stored fruits, and overall quality did not meet expectations. Packed Food: On the day of checkout, we requested an early morning packed meal. What we received was highly disappointing—a rotten apple, a rotten banana, and a sandwich with spoiled cheese. Fair warning , the entrance is easy to miss. It’s small and quite discreet, almost hidden against the noise and colour of the bazaar. But step inside, and everything changes. The contrast is immediate and wonderful. Arriving at the Hotel Once you’re through the entrance, the market crowd and noise simply disappear. You’re greeted by a large, beautifully maintained lawn, the sound of the Lidder River nearby, and the calm of a property that has been welcoming guests for over a hundred years. That sense of stepping into a different world is one of the hotel’s best qualities. Rooms and Facilities The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large washrooms that are a pleasant surprise at this price point. Most rooms look out over the Lidder Valley, and that view is genuinely magical ,the river below, forested slopes all around, and clean mountain light filling the room each morning. The hotel also has built in water heaters in the rooms, which is a practical and much appreciated feature when Pahalgam evenings get cold. The lawn is lovely ,wide, well-kept, and perfect for a quiet evening walk or a morning cup of tea with the valley spread out in front of you. The Food This is where Pahalgam Hotel really shines. The food is excellent, and that’s true across the entire menu. Whether it’s a simple fried egg at breakfast or a tandoori trout at dinner, everything is cooked carefully and tastes just right, not overdone, not under seasoned, just balanced and honest. The Lidder Valley trout is a must try. Fresh, light, and beautifully prepared. For a hotel at this price, the kitchen punches well above its weight. Value for Money This is not a five star luxury property, and it doesn’t pretend to be. What it offers instead is something harder to find ,a hundred year old heritage hotel with a stunning riverside location, comfortable rooms, great food, and warm hospitality, all at a very reasonable price. You leave feeling like you got far more than you paid for. Final Verdict Pahalgam Hotel is one of those rare places that stays with you. Unpretentious, genuine, and beautiful in the most natural way possible. If you’re heading to Pahalgam, this is where you should stay."

"Volga Hotel is an awesome hotel. The best of Pahalgam with luxurious facilities. We had a great time at this hotel with the inland garden. The service was very accurate with Mr.Akyf and Mr.Umar with fast services. This hotel has an awesome view for travellers and we had a great time. The rooms were very clean. They had a television, heater and hot water flowing through. We were happy staying here and do not regret taking this desicion."

"Located near Chandanwari, with equidistance from *** and Betaab Valley, Pine N Peak is a luxurious resort in beautiful surroundings. Hotel is located overlooking the Lidder River, and the garden seatings give wonderful views of the same. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The property is a feast to the eyes, in terms of it's interiors and design. The buffet breakfast has huge range of dishes and offerings, one of the most extensive ones. Also, during dinner a la carte in the main restaurant, had one of the best Kashmiri Pulav in this property. Their restaurant Gulistan Grill outdoor in the gardens serves the most amazing food. They provide complimentary High tea to all their guests. Hotel staff are helpful and prompt in their service. Especially the restaurant staff."
