"This hotel is the only best hotel in the area. Four stars hotel in the area. The service was very lousy. No welcome greeting no help for my suitcases. They just stand there and looking at me because I came with my local family. The room was generous even tough really tired and old. The toilet at rooftop, lobby and the restaurant were smelled urine but yet so many people just chat around the counters. Asked for services no one even came to ask if I want a drink or else. Saturday night there was a music event below my room 521. No announcements prior to this event. The loud music went through the room. I was tired after a day trip. I rang the receptionist they said this sound will be end by ten. Can you imagine how bothered that was. Maybe next time to let the residents know prior to the activity. The room wasn’t soundproof at all. I can hear the sound from next door. It was uncomfortable stayed."

"Fantastic resort at Samosir island, typical of what one might expect from a 5 star resort. Island weather was a cooling 20 degrees but the water in the pool is warm, so you could enjoy it even in the evening. Oh not to mention the view. The outdoor equipments like bicycles, e-scooters, electric cars are very well maintain, so you could rent it with peace of mind."

"Great accommodation! Highly recommended. The owner was very friendly, informative and helpful. There’s free pick up service from the nearby jetty and drop off as well. Our rooms overlook the Lake Toba, the view was breathtakingly good. The property also offers motorbike rental with super affordable price. Anyone coming to Samosir Island please consider staying here. My elderly parents also approved this place."

"I spent three nights at Zoe's Paradise Waterfront Hotel in January of this year,2026,and it was just perfect...I had a beautiful room where sleep quality was excellent...The room was serviced daily...This hotel has a very good restaurant where I had most of my meals....The location was perfect-in the centre of Tuk Tuk with a beautiful view of Lake Toba....The staff really made my stay memorable and enjoyable...I want to mention Evelyn and Angel in the dining room and Fanny and Boi at reception....A special mention must be made of Monica....This lovely lady organised a becak to take me on a day trip around Samosir island and also organised a car and driver to take me to Bukittinggi,the next place on my itinerary....Truly a lovely person and a great staff member....Top marks to Zoe's Paradise...10 out of 10."

"Room was fine, would have been better to have a proper curtain for the window though. they offer food and drinks to very affordable prices, which you can enjoy from the terrace with lake view. Drinking water is for free. And they also have motorbikes for rent. Pretty good offer for the money you pay."
