Our experience with Sonder was nothing short of a nightmare. After a long journey, we arrived at our booked accommodation only to be left sitting in our car for over an hour. Sonder claimed we didn’t have a reservation, causing us immense frustration and confusion. Eventually, we discovered they had canceled our reservation due to mold in the room.
This left us completely stranded on Memorial Day weekend with virtually nowhere to stay, as everything was fully booked. Sonder’s lack of communication and support was astounding. With no front desk staff and the only way to communicate being via an app or smartphone, getting any help was nearly impossible.
