Palma has a huge choice of hotels, I was going mainly on a business trip but could add a mini weekend break onto it, so finding somewhere, close to the airport, not too far from Palma and hopefully close to a beach. This was my choice and it fitted the bill. Help at reception was swift and my queries were answered. It is a real mix of German and Uk younger visitors, the buffet was slightly more Euro friendly and suited us perfectly. While I was working, my partner could spend time on the beach and felt safe so close to the hotel. Would probably choose to spend more for a longer holiday, but for this it worked. Smooth trip.

I can’t tell you how much I loved this hotel. We arrived on a busy Wednesday lunchtime - the gentleman that checked us in was so completely lovely and friendly and took the time to tell us all that we needed to know about the hotel. One of our two rooms was ready early, which was so appreciated as we had been up since 12 the night before, they had also allocated two rooms together which was fabulous as I was travelling with my daughters. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. You also get the mini bar free on the first day which is great. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was lovely and friendly and had a smile. The lady who greeted us at breakfast was lovely, the breakfast restaurant isn’t huge but it absolutely has everything needed and the food was all fresh. The guys on the bar that we met at the end of the day when we came back tired from exploring Palma were so lovely, they made the most fabulous cocktails and even recommended which one my daughter should try. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat . It is in a fabulous location and it’s immaculately clean. A fabulous 48 hours in Palma/thank you so much 💫

It was great experience staying in. We requested more pillows and extra towels and were given straight away. The buffet has lots of choice and delicious food. All the staff is very kind, helpful and friendly. We had to wait for our late evening flight and our luggage was kept safe during the day and we were provided with towels to shower and fully get ready in peace. I only give 4 stars as for a location with hot weather I would expect a fridge in each room not just the suites and studios.

This is a TRULY lovely small hotel, immaculately clean and a very comfortable room. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful with everything, and Lucia recommended a lovely beach nearby. Although it is out of the city centre it is very close to the Miro Museum and the beaches. The number 4 bus which goes into the city centre is frequent and stops very close to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. There is also a fabulous fish restaurant one minute away which people come to from all over the island and was probably the best food we had during our stay.

Absolutely lovely hotel by Son Vida golf course. We used a family room with twin beds and a sofa bed -- there was plenty of space for all three of us (couple and a child). The room was clean and equipped with everything you'd normally find in a proper 5* hotel. The mattresses are a bit on the firm side and the pillows very very soft, but for a few days one could adjust to them. The outdoor pool area is stunning and very well maintained. There's always a lifeguard on site, sometimes even two, supervising both the outdoor and the indoor pools. The sauna is great and very hot. I also really enjoyed the breakfast here -- very good quality food, good diversity .. particularly the fruits, the breads. They have a juicing machine and you can make your own fruits/veggie juice in the morning. The staff, all around, are great -- polite and helpful (not to forget multilingual). Thank you all for a beautiful stay! We look forward to returning soon!

This was our third stay at Apolo . Unfortunately our stay was cut short by a day due to the French ATC strike . We had EJ flights and there were no flights available back to Bristol for 4 days, we managed to get flights with BA back to Heathrow the day before the strike began, which did make our holiday quite costly. We enjoyed our stay very much , the breakfast & evening meals are very good , although as a previous reviewer had said the food is not always very hot , but a lot of choices available both for breakfast & evening dinner. We had a pool/sea view room that I had requested on the 5th floor. I also asked if we could have a kettle and it was in our room on our arrival. The rooms are not very big and storage is limited, only one drawer with hanging space above . The bathroom with a shower, which was a little small, but there was a window to open. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the hotel is kept very clean. The food in the snack bar at lunch time is also very good. We choose to stay at the hotel due to its short taxi trip €15 from the airport and our previous holidays . If & when we return for any future holidays we would not hesitate to stay at Apolo . Thank you for an enjoyable stay .

We booked Nou Balares as as part of a Jet2 City Break. This hotel is absolutely superb, it is well located, and immaculately clean and tidy, but one of the best things are the staff. A special ‘thank you’ goes out to reception who went out of their way to provide us with information on everything from where to find a pharmacy on New Year’s Day, to opening the lift on New Year’s Eve, so we could all go on the roof and watch the fireworks. Breakfast, though a slightly limited menu, was delicious and freshly cooked every time. The small courtyard is a lovely sheltered place to have coffee and a snack and the food in the restaurant very tasty at reasonable cost. An excellent powerful shower and everything you need, in your room with nothing you don’t need. The hotel represents excellent value for money, particularly if you are budget conscious. 10 out of 10 !

GGuest UserBeautiful boutique hotel, very clean and well appointed. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Ideally locate in the old town. We stayed in a double deluxe room in order to be able to have the option of twin beds as it was a mother and daughter trip. Lovely Mollton Brown products in the bathroom, Illy coffee machine in the room and a kettle upon request so we could make tea. Minibar very well stocked. We enjoyed a nice glass of cava as a welcome drink. Continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful with the option of scrambled eggs. Would stay again if in Palma.

Lunches available in bar area & outside pool seating area, reasonable selection of food choices. Wide selection of wines available. Room was very clean & tidy and cleaned daily, nice balcony overlooking sea & pool area. Entertainment on 3 of the nights we stayed and was of a good standard. Good location only a short walk into C'an pastilla, bus stop right outside hotel with regular very cheap service to either Palma or Arenal Would recommend.

There was lots of reviews saying the staff were rude. However if you do stupid things like turning up to dinner when it’s just closing they would probably be quite keen to kick you out because they need to clean and get home to there families duhhh.
That asides the staff were friendly and couldn’t have done enough to help.
The bus stop was across the road.
I will stay here again.
Only booked breakfast and it was very good loads of choice and fresh

GGuest UserFab hotel for a quiet last minute break. Pool area was brilliant, really comfy sun beds and brilliant cocktails served from the pool bar. We were always able to find a sun bed. The staff were all brilliant, food and drink all seemed reasonable for the local prices. We were in one of the older rooms so it didn’t have the nice blue/ white colour theme shown in the hotel photos, but beds were comfy and there were double balcony doors so there was no issues with noise from the street. It was great to have a fridge in the room. Lovely beach less than 10 mins walk, and easy to jump on the bus to Palma from right outside the hotel (€2 each way). You can also cycle which is lovely too. Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice. dinner also good, each night had a different theme- some nights were better than others! There was no entertainment in the evenings but bar open until 12. We stayed Monday- Friday and the hotel was busy but pretty chilled, I think it’s more of a party hotel over the weekends.

PPui YingI recently stayed at a hotel and would like to share my review based on different aspects. The location of the hotel was quite good, earning a score of 4. It was conveniently close to a beautiful beach. However, the hotel was a bit far from the city center, which may be a drawback for some guests.
In terms of service, the hotel staff was excellent, receiving a score of 5. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a satisfying stay.
Cleanliness was another positive aspect of the hotel, deserving a score of 5. The rooms and common areas were well-maintained and tidy.
However, there were a few drawbacks in terms of amenities. The rooms were quite small, and the soundproofing was not great, resulting in noise from the adjacent rooms and hallway. Additionally, the balcony was located too close to the neighboring room, which compromised privacy.
Overall, the hotel had a good location near the beach (4/5) and provided excellent service (5/5). The cleanliness was also top-notch (5/5). However, the small room size, poor soundproofing, and proximity of the balcony to the next door were areas for improvement (4/5).

GGuest UserMy positive experience with Hotel Mirador in Palma, Mallorca began as soon as I entered the lobby. I was greeted warmly at the desk where they solved several problems with my booking which was made by Trip.com. Specifically, for some reason my reservation was in the name of a Trip.com employee and not me! Second although I had booked for two nights with continental breakfast, the reservation was made for one night with lunch and dinner and a SEPARATE reservation was made for one night with no meals. Third, a reservation was made for a ”Family” room instead of a single as I requested. This made my stay more expensive than I planned for.
Through all of these difficulties the staff at the Hotel Mirador treated me exceptionally well and made many phone inquires until I was able to get a room.

GGuest UserJust returned from a five night stay in Alua Leo. We arrived at about 10pm. A cold salad type meal was waiting for us in the dining room as we had missed our main meal. This was appreciated. Reception staff were always helpful and courteous. We travelled with EasyJet Holidays and their system allowed us to choose a room upgrade. We were in room 150. The room was very clean (all parts of the hotel were very clean) and was an adequate size. Storage was limited. We had a huge terrace which had two sun beds, parasol and two ordinary chairs plus a small table. This was a great asset to the room. Beds were super comfy! There was a coffee machine but I’d suggest you bring your own coffee pods etc. Kettles can be hired from reception. As others have said, the room safe cost 3 euro a day. I thought this was a bit steep! There was a small fridge. We opted for half board. Food was very good. Dining room staff worked efficiently to clear tables etc. They were all cheerful and helpful. Pool area was well maintained. Plenty of Sun loungers and parasols - certainly for May time. The water in the pool was VERY COLD! Life guard on duty from 10AM. Pool towels can be hired for 10 euro deposit. At the time of our stay (20th-25th May) there were no daytime activities on offer. I’m not sure if this is a hotel that offers kids activities in the high season. There is not a gym. Location is excellent. Just about 10 mins from the airport. 2 mins to the sea. Long prom. Very safe for walking, jogging or cycling. A number 25 bus takes you into Palma in about 15 minutes. This can be caught across the road from the hotel. Beautiful sandy beach. Check out is at 12 noon and luggage can be stored. We had a lovely, restful holiday and if we return to Palma we would not hesitate to stay at Alua Leo again.

If you want to go to other places on the island for a day, it is a good place to stay, very close to the city of Parma. Of course, Palma is a holiday resort, and the holiday is too small.

The room is a little old, but it's hard to find a single room at this price in a tourist resort. There is a cafe next to it that can solve the problem of breakfast, and there is an Asian supermarket where you can buy water or something at night
