"We booked a superior room with sea view through *********** but on arrival the hotel had no such booking but they did have a reservation through ******* and thus we checked in to a lesser room, we were told that the room we had booked was unavailable and there was nothing they could do, we were told this by both Tom on reception and the manager. To our astonishment on our second day, Valentine’s Day, we were speaking to another guest who had complained to reception the day before that the noise in there room was so loud that they wanted to change rooms, they were moved to the room that we booked and had been told by Tom and the manager was unavailable!!!!!! We have stayed at this hotel 3 times previous and can’t really fault it but we won’t return especially after seeing the stains hidden under a throw on the sofa, I’ll let you use your imagination!!!!"

"Beautiful apartment, clean, beautifully decorated, warm, everything you need for a short stay! Really easy to find close to everything you'd need to make It perfect, shop, pubs etc close to beach and great base to adventure out. Super comfy bed and pillows, amazing shower... Didn't want to get out. Nice size fridge, toaster microwave and seating to enjoy a light meal. Fresh fluffy towels. This place has the touch of special! Will 100% recommend and will return ourselves😊"

"The website for this property requires updating. The main page shows a lounge that is no longer in use and hasn't been since Covid. We were told it was down to flood damage..... we should have been told on the phone when calling to book. Another lounge area is also shown in the conservatory, this no longer exists either. Other photographs were also misleading and very dated. The proximity of the main A390 was the main issue. It is the other side of the fence to the cottage. We stayed on a Sunday night and traffic died down a little 2-4am but otherwise it was like sleeping on the actual road. Trucks, motorbikes and all other vehicles were deafening. Closing the window made no difference. Despite being on Google maps, it is not possible to gage how noisy it actually is here. We hoped the breakfast may go someway to helping us recover from a sleepless night. However, this was not the case. Scrambled eggs done in the microwave were like rubber, which was such a shame as the hens are located behind the property. Soggy bacon, no baked beans served on a cold plate. No choice of bread given when we ordered and only multgrain was provided. Overall, disappointing and we cancelled our second night. We paid in full for both nights. We thought it wise not to argue given the owners deminer towards us."

"We have stayed at these cottages in the past. They do not feel like holiday accommodation but feel more like home. Cozy lounge with comfortable sofa and chairs. Plenty of space and garden area. Everything you would want for your break away. We would return again."
