Guest UserWe recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance
On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression.
We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved.
Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

Guest UserAs a new mum that craved for a beach getaway since 2024, Bintan felt like the perfect idea for our little family to kick Start our travels with a ferry ride to Bintan.
Sadi beach is a little bit further from the ferry terminal and main attractions (e.g. lagoi bay) but Sadi beach makes up for it with the comfortable and cosy rooms as well as the excellent service the team provides. The food is excellent, anything on the menu is a hit. We loved the fritters, nasi goreng cabe ijo and the mocktails were especially exquisite with zero alcohol!!
The staff makes you feel like you're right at home and it's so convenient to converse with them via whatsapp for any queries, concerns or needs.
It was an excellent stay because i felt so sad having to leave! Definitely worth a visit if you need to unwind and just relax, we chose the garden villa. There's spa/massage, a playroom for children, a pool and complimentary canoeing/bicycle rides. You can even opt for snorkeling at the nearby islands. Absolutely wonderful stay as there's something for everyone, whatever your age!
Thank you so much Sadi team, special shoutout to kak Lun 💕 terima kasih kak dan team layan kami seperti family, inshallah jumpa lagi ya 🙏🏽

The staff here are really friendly, honestly, I find them much more chill than hotel staff in China. It's not a forced friendliness for good reviews, but genuinely kind. The location is excellent, close to the sea where you can see the stars. The pool is clean, and the hygiene is good; I didn't find any bugs or anything. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food is delicious, and breakfast is plentiful. The air conditioning works well. I think booking a room here automatically includes airport transfers and breakfast, which wasn't very clearly stated on the description page. Highly recommend!

IZhengThe stay at Natra Bintan was amazing. Room is clean and cozy, all the staffs are very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located at the Treasure Bay where you get to play both the land and water activities and is just 5 mins from ferry terminal. Scenery is stunning and feels relaxing. Downside is all activities are a bit pricey in Treasure Bay. Breakfast choices are great and delicious. Managed to capture both sunset and sunrise at the resort.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

Intan ChiaWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa in Bintan! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. The villa itself was stunning—beautifully maintained, spacious, clean, and offering breathtaking views that made our vacation truly unforgettable.
What made our experience even more special was how the team went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday. They surprised me with thoughtful decorations and a lovely birthday arrangement that made the day extra memorable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality exceeded all our expectations.
The facilities were excellent, the food was delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the city. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.
Thank you for making my birthday celebration and our stay so special. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway in Bintan!

Shiju JohnAmazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. Just a call put that this is Lagoi, so please don't expect to have malls around, and the city centre falls in the Tanjung Pinang area.

Guest UserStayed in the private pool ocean view villa, and it was one of the best villas I’ve ever visited! 😍
The villa itself was beautiful:
* 🚽 Japanese/Korean heated toilet
* 🚿 Large shower
* 🛀 Large bathtub
* 🪞 Couple’s sink with plenty of space
* 🛏️ Big, comfortable bed
The ocean is clear and unpolluted, and each villa comes with an inflatable paddle—high tide was so fun, and low tide lets you spot little fishes. It felt like a private beach —perfect for fun and amazing photos with no photo bombers.✨The pool was perfect too, cleaned daily, and the resort was very private and peaceful. 💡 If I were to share my advice 🤿 Go snorkeling! My biggest regret was not going 🥺. If the water in front of the villa is already this clear and full of fish, I can only imagine the snorkeling spots. 🐠
🍽️ The Ocean Restaurant was excellent—fresh local fish and seafood noodles for 385k IDR. I only wish I tried the mud crab! 🥲 https://oneofakindbintan.github.io/oneofakindbintanmenu/ocean/mobile/index.html Room Service Menu
🚲 Free bicycles are available—just ask reception and they’ll deliver them to your villa.
💆♀️ Book a spa session—I spent so much time researching spas before the trip, only to find that the resort itself offers affordable spa packages. I didn’t plan enough time for it 🤏🥲 but it’s seriously worth it.
💡 My advice: Stay in the ocean view villa—it’s absolutely worth it. Transport is easy to arrange, but this level of ocean view and privacy at this price is rare. ✨ The best vacations are the ones with regrets from not knowing more—so go for this. A true hidden gem—100% worth visiting! 🌊💙
❤️ Huge thank you to the manager and team for their outstanding hospitality and excellent service. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more memorable.

Stars & embersThe main attraction is beach combing during low tide everyday, the water is shallow and very clear, full of seashells, crabs and little fishes. Really fun. There is also a jetty u can see many fishes in the sea, it's a short walk from the resort ( bet can see different species if u go at night with a powerful torch). There is also a local mini mart to buy things on the other side. Kampongs with 🐔 chicken farms around and many local fisherman fishing. A lot of stars at night if there is no moon or clouds. Overall a wonderful experience for nature lovers and kids to explore. However the tv resolution is bad, the food serving is little and the transport and other activities are quite expensive, no hair conditioner and have to ask for insect repellent. The staff are all very nice. Hopefully they address these and provide more activities, it's such a wonderful beach, more people should come.

If you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away!
The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area.
The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer).
For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang!
Have a God blessed day!
